    Well done on your show Cuba heard it was a good day,couldnt support it as i was taking part in the mourne plod for charity... RESEARCH FOR CHILDREN FOR LIFE and i will be further supporting this charity at THE LURCHER & TERRIER SHOW AT BALLINLOUGH GAME FAIR County Meath on 17th July (more info to follow on this show)..     Good decision to seperate the collie & terrier cross lurcher class , i also think bull cross should have a class of their own as you have two totally different types of lurcher in the ring with the terrier & bull not to mention propably in the access of 20+ lurchers of both types in the ring as one class,just a suggestion A.

    Some good points there Albert ,as Judging is not for everyone, having judged at Tullylish & Dublin Working Terrier Club's shows i have to admit i really enjoyed the experience of judging at these shows and as Neill Cooney says it's a privelige to be ask, and its also good manners to accept when approached by show organisers to stand in the ring and put yourself in the possible line of fire,but at the end of the day we are all in this sport to enjoy and therefore should all support each individual who takes up this privilege and plays their part in promoting all the great shows we have th

    John & Margaret ,Take no notice of the comments made by F.P,as everyone is aware of the insults he has been directing at some people recently (me included).But dont let him deter you both in doing what you's enjoy doing as you both support shows up & down the country year in year out and all shows need good genuine people like you's .     Fairplay ..Im the gilford man who you have been slating on here & i know exactly who you are ,as does a number of people as your not kidding all of us ,you obviously have an axe to grind with me and my fellow organiser but i thought you would have maybe addressed any issues you had with the show afterwards face to face but your obviously not the type of person that can do this .So im not going to have a tit for tat with you over the internet until you have the swingers to reveal to everyone your true identity..     Toasty No Disrespect to you ,but the Terrier Judge at Moira was hunting & digging ground when i was swinging aff my mums chest and unless you are the same age as me (40)you woulda been doing something very similar,so for you to talk of disrespect to a man that has no doubt, has as much knowledge than most of us (more than me)is very disrespectful to him considering the work this man has done with Terriers. So please in future when you are calling a judge a disgrace have a little respect for people that stand up and judge at shows ,you are the reason y experienced working Lurche

    At Moira Game Fair this Saturday 28th some Terrier Class's will be split into Dog's & Bitch's This is the 1st time The Gilford Lurcher & Terrier Club has split the class's and we trust this will accommadate all the Terrier competiters..

    Support to Gilford Lurcher & terrrier a well run show with the option of paying into the main fair.     CG The terriers events are on the Saturday 28th at Moira and no one is quarantined in a bog at the front of the show. All those entering the lurcher, terrier and whippet events, like everyone else, are entitled to pay the adult entry fee if they want to see round the rest of the show but if they do not wish to they can still enter the showing and racing activities separately. We the event organisers meet with the organising club well in advance of the shows each year and agree where the showing and racing will take place and in what format.
