    A few people see them in the forrest on the english side but ive only ever seen one roe buck near monmouth and that was when we were lamping foxes one night, never seen him since though.....

    There are? yeah i was making my point that i get out enough and dont need to be taken and shown what i know aint there and threw in a few pics of roe aswell.. A mate of mine lives in bracknell up your way and he shoots, runs his lurchers and flys his hawks on all manner of game around there, we can only hope to have the roe you have one day but i dont think we will......

    I aint taking the piss at all, i even know the boys who were involved in thier freedom, the fence(1 inch galv) makes good dog runs. and ive seen dogs take them many times when the time was right, the only deer ive seen my side of hereford are fallow with herds of 60 plus around the rolls of monmouth golf club, i shoot not far from there and in the forrest of dean and the roe are very rare in there, oh and thats england there is only a very tiny bit that is truly WELSH...... Oh and dont worry about me i get out enough and know a roe when i see one........................

    If you are going to do any deer stalking then you want something you can turn down to 2.5 or 3x for low light at dawn and dusk, then for lamping you could do with it winding up to about 12x so go for a variable power scope. The scopes you talk about along with the S/B would all do the job well enough.

    The cwmbran escapees are fallow they are only half a mile from my house, and the only roe in south wales are in the freezers

    Home brew cider done on an old time press with proper time and care put in to it, good job i dont drink a drop, you can see the press in this pic..

    These are from a cheap bushnell sentry, what these cameras do for us is tell us when the pigs are there and what time they are coming out of the forest and these are a wildview, not as good i think

    Better than a dry old turkey As you can see quite dark meat.....

    Its totally differant its darker than pork more like beef and it tastes nothing like domestic pork

    The one in the pics being skinned had been in the chiller for a week before it was done , we had a mate of ours butcher the first couple as they were gifts to land owners, theses others we will do for ourselves

    We have to use a .308 as thats the only way the police would give us them on our ticket, he used a 150 grain soft point, we have shot bigger ones than this and they dont go that far once the wind is gone out of them. Yes it is true you have to skin them as its to late to boil them the next day. so no crackling im affraid

    Went out last night after getting some pics on the night camera We went at 11.00 and were in position by 12.00am, at around 2.00 am we heard them and my mate shot this small sow for the freezer.....

    how did it get this bad! when it got to 90 pence a litre they blocked the refineries, things are bad we are being held to ransome. I bet if some third world country needed fuel our government would be shipping ours to them free of charge
