After an average year with the birds in open mixed flight start of the week I noticed some feathers missing on my linnet cock and goldfinch cock put it down to them having a scrap anyway they both died in the last 48 hours both had massive feather loss around the eyes and half way up the heads?? any ideas?

Had a bit of a sort out of the birds gouldian cock out (sparrow hawk had the hen) redpoll hen out (cock died in cold snap) 3 canary hens in Siskin cock in Goldfinch cock in (next week lol) Got my pair of linnets and two mules aswell Mules will be coming out into small cages soon and just going to let the rest have the run of the avairy. Had a good couple of hours removing all old brash/conifer and jet washed everything out and replaced with all new brash and conifer
