    Hi looking for some help with my dog a saluki x whippet x grey. Had the dog since he was 6months, hes now 12.Took him out from 7months with my older expirienced dog another saluki x whippet x grey, just watching the lamp and watching him catching rabbits.Round about 9 months he was very kean and so i started giving him easy slips on rabbits, he caught 1 or 2 and was coming on well. At around 10 months i had him out again one night with my older lurcher and my older dog caught a rabbit with my pup just behind,the pup tryed to pull at the rabbit, resulting in my older dog snapping for my pup and

    @I have a shotgun licence and permission to shoot on a farm, can i take anybody with me and take them one of my guns to shoot with or do they have to have a licence aswel?

    @Hi Was just wundering what people would reccomend on what battery to use, i had a deben double belt pack 12v 18ah connected to a striker, wasent to keen on the belt pack it was uncomphortable and didint last long enuth, going to buy a new battery but wundering what battery too get? Any suggestions?

    @My 7 month old pup has had a bite off my older dog, ripped its ear about 1cm wide and about 2 and a half inch long i washed it down with salt water is ther anything i could do next or just leve it to heal?

    @What do you fink of this type of breed bonjo14? Ive never seen a dog run of this breed i got him just for rabbits and hares on the lamp, i have a 4 year old saluki grey x saluki wippet grey hese a good dog very experienced, i didint expect it from his lines but he is very game, probly one of the gamest ive ever seen

    ' class="bbc_url">@Cheers lads i fink ile just stick to the basics for now, recall, retrieve, and so on, he is doin exelent with all the basics for now, probly the most obedient dog ive had yet, ile just carry on with that for now and try him again when hese older

    @Yeah mate fink im expecting a bit to much from him too early, do you fink i should carry on giving him slips with my older dog, if i do will he get into a habbit of not picking them up or do you fink in time he will start picking them up? Cant decide weather to just let him watch for now then try again with him when hese a bit older or to carry on giving him slips?

    ' class="bbc_url">@Hi just need a little advice with my lurcher pup (saluki greyhound x wippet) hese 7 and a half month now, ive been letting him watch my older dog on rabbits on the lamp since he was 6 month, hese seen a few kills now and he seemed keen to go, ive gave him a few slips with my older dog and he will run and chase the rabbit but when my older dog catches one he wont grab the rabbit or pick it up he will just sort of stand around sniffin it, when hese running on them he wont go into them he just sort of stops them, hese not interested in rabbit skins either just sniffs them t

    @I have a saluki grey x saluki whippet grey and he is 4 year old now, he has always been spot on with recall and he was very easy to train, he kills rabbits and hares on the lamp and in the day, he also kills gingers single handed yet is still soft mouth with rabbits and works with ferrets, as soon as he looses something he comes running strate back, to me hese the best dog ive had and easiest to train, ive also got saluki greyhound wippet, the sire is 1st x saluki greyhound son of eric rowwels trooper and dam is a full whippet, he is only 7 month atm but listens spot on comes back everytime y

    @You want yor dogs point and shoot when your hare coursing most the hares you get up on you see them the dogs dont hunt them out Dont listen to rubbish from people who dont keep them ! There are many different lines and they cant all be lumped together.Some are as bidable and trainable as any other type of lurcher ,you need to get a pup out of that kind of stuff So you need to get a pup from a certain line for them to be bidable hmmmmmmmmmmmm, I can smell money Expect 2 dozen pms good man............ Whats wrong with different lines having different qualities !? Dont sell

    @Hi i have a lurcher pup 7 month old hese a saluki greyhound x whippet, ive been letting him watch my older dog lamp rabbits but he doesent seem interested at all, even when i show him a rabbit skin he just turns his head away from it but if i frow him a stick or ball he will pick it up and retrieve it ( just not with a rabbit skin) ime wundering if hese still to young? Any advice please? Thanks
