    Could you please circulate this: A local Hunt in our area has lost one of their dogs while Drag Hunting in Heckfield. The dog is a Foxhound, Black and Tan, Entire Male, Adult, No Collar/Chip but is Tattooed on one ear which may be hard to see as dog is dark skinned. If you have any information please contact us.     Please can you circulate this for me? Worrying trend of gun dog thefts at the moment? I have just received a report of an attempted theft of some Springer Spaniels in Frampton on Severn, Gloucestershire last night. Fortunately, the dogs barked and the owner went out to find three men with leads attempting to break into the kennel. They ran away and got into a car that was being driven by a forth person. The incident is being reported to the Police.

    PLEASE CROSSPOST Attention! Have just had a text message from a lady, it appears that 2 men in a white R reg transit tried to snatch a gundog from the lady handler as she put it back in her car in Stansted Abbotts near Ware today. Fortunately the dog bit one of the men as he tried to take it and he let go. The lady drove to the Police station and the van which had been following her then drove off.     Please, please, please be very vigilant with your dogs. There has been a spate of dog, mainly Spaniel, thefts from kennels across the Hampshire/Sussex/Surrey area in the past couple of weeks. Sadly one kennel was broken into on Friday, and then again over night between Monday and Tuesday. Seven dogs were stolen from this one kennels. Have been asked to share the following message for those in the area. Keep safe. Dognapping Epidemic Hampshire police are hunting an organised dognapping gang after several pedigree animals worth thousands of pounds were stolen. Three spaniels were stolen from separate properties in the space of 24 hours. Two cocker spaniels were snatched from their kennels in Owslebury near Winchester on Monday 31 December.     about an hour ago URGENT - MISSING IN TRANSIT - Please read and share far/wide BROOK, Springer Spaniel, female, 3 years, liver & white, docked tail, wearing a blue leather collar with tagged details. Brook was in a horse box and was travelling back from Wales LL17 0TT back to Leicester on 28.12.12. Owner joined the M56 and 15 mins into the journey owner confirms Brook was with them.     STOLEN On behalf of a friend - STOLEN sept 3 from our farm or near area, Driffield. Our beloved terrier Tippi has been stolen - the unspeakable scum who took her also took our other terrier Dill but later dumped her 35 miles away on the A19 north of York. We are very lucky that someone took her to the RSPCA. Tippi is a black and tan Lakeland x Patterdale, 2.5 years old - she has a distinctive white wishbone shaped marking on her chest, and a full tail with kink in the end.     STOLEN Cadmore End, Buckinghamshire TWO black Labradors - bitches Black (both). The young dog has very straight smooth coat. The older dog has a dense coat. The younger dog is quite small and of slight build (looks younger than she is). Older dog is a medium size. Both these are working Labradors, so slighter than the showing lab types. 12 months and 3.5 years old. Microchipped (both). Young dog is very timid. Both are very biddable dogs that are well trained. A rottie male, was loose on the farm and thieves badly injured him by hitting him over the head with an iron bar. Springer adults and puppies were taken and never recovered.
