Please can you circulate this for me? Worrying trend of gun dog thefts at the moment? I have just received a report of an attempted theft of some Springer Spaniels in Frampton on Severn, Gloucestershire last night. Fortunately, the dogs barked and the owner went out to find three men with leads attempting to break into the kennel. They ran away and got into a car that was being driven by a forth person. The incident is being reported to the Police.

Please, please, please be very vigilant with your dogs. There has been a spate of dog, mainly Spaniel, thefts from kennels across the Hampshire/Sussex/Surrey area in the past couple of weeks. Sadly one kennel was broken into on Friday, and then again over night between Monday and Tuesday. Seven dogs were stolen from this one kennels.
