We live in a democracy, allegedly. If our monarch, who is not elected by the people, was to start behaving in an autocratic manor it would rapidly be the end of the monarchy full stop. How can she be a citizen of the EU, and yet also sovereign of Great Britain ? Don't you see the importance of that ? I'm not against a monarchy, but I want her to do her job.

I agree with most of what you have written sport, but there will be no radical change under ukip. Farage makes some nice noises, but let's not forget he's an ex banker and never challenges the stranglehold of the city. Monetary reform is what's needed, but politicians who try to enact that have a habit of meeting untimely ends.
