I had this happing mate I just put a bowl of milk down and let them drink it together did this for a few weeks and the dog was fine after that. this should of been done as early as possible but you didnt get the dog till it was 6 mths old should of had a go then all you can do is handle the ferret as much as possible around the house so the dog can see its a friend then let it have milk in a bowl then give the dog a drink out of the same bowl then see if you can get them sharing together any sign of the dog going for it just give a sharp no just perserverance im afraid.

How to offend just about everybody... I'm living next door to a Muslim couple at the moment. try cobalt drill bits and put some oil on the end and make sure its on slower speed so not to heat bit up to much then get some large rawl bolts as been said

as said if the dog is off the lead and accidentally grabs it ie in a park were they are everywhere your ok .

used the 2 of them the hunter packs a punch but the field are more accurate and if its a noggin shot it dont matter

yes moxy i do a lot of rat shooting and the sods sometimes make it a few feet away but dont worry mate they eat any shite including one another so any well shot rat is toast anyway to be eaten by the bigger stronger ones thats why you dont find many carcasses lying about the week after you have been also a few generations down the line and they start to become immune to certain pesticides so wack them with the lead.

yes 2003 model and got help of a chrono going to do it sunday as im shooting saturday so just incase the gun is in bits im waiting till then haha.

as the lads have said probably rust and shite that gun could be 20 yrs old just give it a welly with a hammer and a piece of timber so not to damage it its got to come of for the silencer to go on just remember it wont ever of been taken off just be brave and do it

thanks davy i registered on sunday but it looks like i have a leak somewhere on it i charged it up to 180 and today its on 175 so dropping 5 bar a day so thinking of getting some work done on it ie service and a tune but wont send it to air arms they want 90 quid for a service mate quite steep on the plus side i phoned air arms and the gun is april 03 so all i need is to find someone near enough to me who will help out with the bits and maybe talk me through stripping it might have a go myself quite handy haha might have a go of polishing and fettling ooer missus.

right fellas i went to fill up rifle tonight for some rat bashing at the farm and the gauge was reading zero on the rifle when i tried to fill it up the air was coming out the barrel is it the seals that are likely to have gone and anyone have an idea of price thanks.

mate had two and they worked very well on rats and rabbits and fox going back 10 yrs but couldnt fault them good allround little dogs.

depends what sort of area you are ratting in ie ditches, water courses and such like,the whippet has a great nose and good speed off the mark just that much quicker so i would imagine crossing one with a good ratting terrier would make a great little dog,my mate has a russell cross spaniel and its coming along great, but theres no competition between the small lurchers and whippet so something in between the two would be very handy.

I tried cut and heal that was recommended on here on my lurchers paw she had taken the top right off on her large pad on front paw used this twice a day for 10-12 days results were fantastic and she was back out walking for a few days then running all good at 15 days.

i used to use meths mixed with a good 3in1 oil and very fine wire wool if its only light rust try a silicone gun cloth.
