  1. it gets easier mate lost a 2 yr old border at christmas broke my heart it did i loved that dog to pieces what can you do though just think of all the fun you had ,dont let it put you off getting another dog if you work them this is the risk you take the dog looked in great nick you obviously have a lot to give a dog. r.i.p meg.
  2. been ratting for nearly 30 yrs and in that time used mainly ferrets from proven stock that goes back a lot of years what you have to realise is that there 20 yrs ago there wasnt any smokers about no one bothered with petrol strimmers and the like so its been ferrets since god knows how long for i should imagine a hell of a lot of ratters, yes the rats are getting bigger and with the weather as it is they are breeding later litters than ever before so you get situations were they wont bolt and the ferret gets carved had some bad does myself with some nasty injuries to ferrets however never lost
  3. also take into account some teriers are very yappy ie jrt also are you keeping in or out you dont want to upset the neighbours also worth looking at a patterdale they come on a bit quicker i have a border they take more time and patience good luck with your choice.

  7. aa s410 k would do the trick deadly accurate and 20 m0re shots than the standard s410.

  10. you can pick up cages like they use in dog shows for about 25 pound as said put the small bed in there with a few bits the dog will soon get used to it and realise the safety and comfort away from everything.
  11. seems like a normal night night out the dog was obviously excited to death a nice honest read.

  13. very nice anyway mate i should imagine the dog will enter soon enough its at a good age.
  14. dont overdo it they get bored easily just a few times a wk is enough try with a few broken plain biscuits as a treat.
  15. olympus fe 230 7.1 mega pixel to be honest its slim and fits in my inside pocket when out with the dogs so less hassle just got to get used to it.

  17. here is a pic taken monday with old camera so pic aint great she picked up some wild pheasants on my permission the dog is beddie /whippet /greyhound/wheaton/whippet.
  18. not to bad letting the young dog pick up the odd mixy bunny it will bring it on but i wouldnt be running it on healthy bunnys just yet wait till the dog is a bit older well done anyway i bet you are well chuffed.

    Inspiration

    inspiration is some of the people i fit equipment for in there homes so they can come out of hospital and be with there family and friends for the time they have left and the ones who smile and get on with it hard as nails some of them and they are young and old.
  20. these tw*** want a red hot poker shoving up there arses and then put in a barrel of sulphuric acid (im a bit upset).
  21. yes she coming along fine thanks for the nice comments she is kept pretty fit following the lurcher everywhere well trys to anyway.
