hi mate, not owned one myself but i've seen a few, they are not the most intelligent dogs so thats why people cross them with other breeds to give them brains, lack stamina aswell, i'm not saying they are all like that but most are! make good pets, but working wise steer clear, atb
slipper
the same thing happened to my fell terrier a few weeks back, the canal was frozen with snow on top he thought it was the path, very lucky to get him back, he fell through the ice and could'nt get out my mate was the closest so he jumped straight in, top man, lesson learned the hard way!
hi all, i'm selling my weirauch karbine, it's 8 months old, fired 1 tin of pellets, cost £315 plus hawke nite eye 1.5x6x44 which is only 1 month old and cost £100 ,silencer, sling, gunbag and pellets, selling for £350 thanks
I'm new to this sort of dog work so you will have to excuse me! looking to start my pat soon, been pricing up collars etc, just one concern, has anybody had a dog catch it's collar on tree roots etc when it's gone to ground?
obviously all dogs are different so give it a go and keep a close eye on there condition, all dogs will love it but some will benefit and others won't, let us know how they get on mate
I'm not knocking anyone that uses the raw meat diet, but i tried it for six months and was'nt impressed, the dogs seemed to lose stamina and they lost quite a bit of weight, i was feeding them loads of raw mince, rabbit, raw lamb and venison with raw bones aswell, the only upside was there was less crap to clean up
does anyone bother going out while the nights are cold and still, i've been waiting for the moon to bugger off and now it's not really windy enough, but i was thinking if you waited for ideal conditions you would never get out! is it worth going out or shall i wait for the windy nights?
