Thanks chaps yes been watching the pigeons on the acorns but it's the same old story because there are so many about one or two shots and there gone to next wood or tree

Thanks, it's for a 22 rimfire and possibly to go on my 223 depending on how good I can get it, how do you fit a doubler??

Cheers mate, yeah I know but I shoot hell of a lot of rabbits there and sell them, so want to keep him happy was going to have a go as it would be good to learn how to do it

Have been asked by one of the farmers I shoot for to have a go at the moles The thing is I need a bit of advice as I have never done this before, how easy is it and what are the best traps

I know deker to be honest I haven't got a lot of experience shooting in strong winds, this is my first winter with this rifle, I have spent hours shooting long range crows etc and have shot a lot of foxes out to 200 yards but not in wind like we had last night, it was rocking the 4x4! So thanks for the replies and I suppose I'll have to do some paper punching in wind or get an app

Just got back in after waiting on some bait I've been putting on a muck pile, didn't have to wait long and along comes charlie about 150 - 200 yards anyway I had to wait 20 minutes for a clear shot and you've guessed it I miss, was thinking on way home how I missed then I realised I didn't allow for wind, what would be the allowance for a 223 40 grain at 200 yards with a 35 mph cross wind

Just got myself one of these photons was wondering what is the best infra red add on I already have the nm800 but have not got the ir pill, just asking to see if there is a cheaper option

As a ratting rifle they are great because if you miss the head the bigger pellet usually stops them if hit anywhere else, all I'm saying is I wouldn't like to use it for other pests Prefer 177 for shooting everything else through the head

I have tried it with my mates lightning and a fac rapid was not impressed just my view

I have a pes 12 stainless mod for my 223 which goes over the barrel really good and will last ages being stainless not for sale just giving you an idea Atb

Na my mate had a 25 bsa lightning I think, was not worth it because you can't really use it for anything else unless it's fac because it drops to quick, head shot with either 22 or 25 has the same result which is dead!
