  2. Just a quicky wind drift is always 10 mph on charts so for instance 223 40 grn vmax at 200 yards moves an inch with 10mph will it be two inches with 20 mph and so on?
  3. Same here glad its not just me my springer bitch was like that I was really worried but she is slowly starting to listen now at 9 months but still having off days where she will not listen so I have taken the advice I was given off here and have put her on a long lead untill recall is 100 percent, because I cant move on with the retrieving untill then
  4. Are they still on the general licence mon? Has it changed yet there were supposed to be a few alterations this time? I used to love shooting geese with my hmr through the head on a windless evening lol On a different note just had a call to say all the silage has been cut so cant wait to finish work! Went out yesterday with the 22 and shot a few woodies on clover which was good fun I have never decoyed pigeons with the 22, love the 22lr

  12. Hi all just after a bit of advice really I'm still struggling with recall with my 9 month old springer, I know there will be people that will say this should be sorted by now but this is my first gundog and all I have had is a few lessons and watched the david lisset dvd s who makes it lookeasy anyhow this is the problem: Find in the garden comes back on the whistle, fine out off the lead when working the cover, she stops On the whistle and comes back on the whistle, but in a field when I am trying basics sit stay recall etc if she sees a crow or pigeon flying low she will chase it and igno

  17. So the lee factory crimp die goes in a bench mounted press cc? Also which scales would you recommend? I bought the cheap lee balance scales but tbh I'm not that confident in them? Is it worth spending money on a decent set that hold powder in a tube and then trickle the powder out? The ones where you just type in the amount of grains on a keypad?
  18. Why is it flatter than a 100 yard mate? I, m just looking for any info and tips aswell regarding the 223 atb
