    everything I put in my dogs kennel she pulls out, evenings are getting cooler now and even though she has a insulated with kingspan kennel I would like her to sleep on something or am I being to soft? What do you use as bedding?

    When foxing from a truck do you turn the engine off whilst calling,? Its just a fox could appear from behind so if the engine was running you could swing it around to get on target as opposed to starting the car up again which would make more of a noise? Is this what you do?

    Yes exactly, tried best fox call the tenterfield etc and sometimes the squeak on the hand is all you need

    It will happen mate, I'm having the same, it's just a quiet year for foxes in my area, they were everywhere last harvest, this time hardly anything, I have only seen 4 this month and shot 3 of them, I have been doing more rabbit shooting though to be fair, but last year on the stubbles I was shooting 2 or 3 every time I went out, you can only Shoot them once I suppose, the foxes your seeing are they the ones you have shot at and missed with the hmr lol? Thought there would be more of this years cubs about though, what are the rabbit numbers like on your permissions?

    Never used them before I suppose it reduces ricocheting are they accurate and how much are they mate

    I know very little mate I'm in the same boat except my ess is twelve months old now and I think I made the mistake of doing to much to soon, with advice from kind chaps off here I have now got her walking to heel, stopping on the whistle, turning on the whistle, my main mistake was doing to much retrieving to young, and now I have had to start all over again with that but I don't mind, it's a learning curve for me and the dog, but every time I take her out I see an improvement, what I have been advised ( a bit late in my case lol) is let it be a pup and form a strong bond, all the best and

    I could do with my cz 452 shortening its 22 inch I think, its a bit awkward shooting from the 4x4, was quoted 90 quid by brock and norris, its deadly accurate just hope it stays like that

    Cheers dan, and I've just remembered we saw a normal coloured rabbit with a completely white head, and I missed that one! Never seen one like that before, I've seen black ones and ginger but not white headed

    Cheers mate, we started at 8 last night and finished about 4 this morning, just dropped them off at the butchers I was a bit worried he wouldn't take that many but he was chuffed, drove around 3 farms the best was a chicken farm as we were shooting 4 or 5 at a time, not lamp shy at all, didnt see a single fox all night though which is weird

    Just got in from rabbiting ended with 74, got to be up in an hour to take them to the market is the only downer lol best night in ages
