    I love reloading, when she's watching that eastenders rubbish I set up in the kitchen and relax and take my time, had some great advice and tips off kind chaps off here it is addictive though but now I can get really tight groups with my 223

    To honest lol it's pretty good though just shot another, picked him up at what I thought was about yards and watched him run straight down the plough towards me shot him through the eye at 50 yards they don't know your there it's great

    Just sat in the motor after a bit of ferret food, got the Yukon photon mounted on my 22 with a t20 from Marky been here ten minutes and shot two missed two bloody hard to judge range that's the only bummer

    This is the thing I would like to take her out for a mooch with my spaniel but if a rabbit gets up I don't want her yapping after it lol but I need to show her cattle, fences, chickens etc just getting used to the countryside really she is nearly 7 months old, recall jumping retrieving is all good See how it goes I suppose

    What age does everybody start to work their lurchers, also what age does a running dog reach its peak and how many seasons do you expect to get out of a dog?

    Tidy mate, last time I went out on my mate's farm we only saw one and I only went to that farm because all her ducks had been taken and she had text me but she is lambing now and I try and get out at least once a week there but weather has been pants with it being wind less and foggy

    Sorry Dan I just read that back, what I meant was are they lambing fields etc and are you happy to let two or three litters starve to death slowly

    What are people's views on shooting foxes now cubs are below ground and in some places been about for a while I know ideally best to find the earth first but what does everybody do carry on shooting or just deal with specific problem foxes?

    Thanks for all the replies anyway a bit of a update, My mate has phoned the original owner who has only now told him he used a shock collar on the dog to stop it chasing sheep we would like any opinions on whether this will stop it permanently chasing anything because that's what it looks like

    My mate's just phoned he's been out again with the dog and rifle he shot one in the guts and the dog just sniffed it and walked off and when he got back he put it in its pen and it buried it in its bedding!

    Hi all just got back in, had an afternoon with my mate who has just bought a lurcher which is 18 month old and apparently buĺl whippet grey x saluki whippet grey anyway we took it out with the ferrets just to see what it's like managed to bolt a couple and the dog wasn't interested at all just watched them run off and basically didn't move I have never seen a dog not want to chase a rabbit before this dog has no injuries that we can see it doesn't look like it's done a lot what do you think peeps a dud?

    Anybody used one? Picked up a magazine yesterday and there's a bloke shooting crow's with one they look handy just wondering what's people's experience with them really?

    Same here when I had a cz hmr that happened as well was advised by a gun smith to be careful not to take to much off, he said wrap sandpaper around something like a bit of broom handle so it sands it equal on either side
