  1. Only if your pushing it and loose it in the first place Paul, you shouldn't be in a situation where you locking your wheels up in the first place IMO.. There's an art to driving in the snow, low gear, no sharp breaking or acceleration, slow down well before the bend.. My statement was about driving appropriately to the conditions, not trying to regain control once you've lost it, and I reckon I could bring a car to a stop in the snow quicker with a non ABS equipped car.. Few people can actually handle (not just drive..) a car these days in normal conditions, let alone in adverse ones..
  2. There's an app to explain that

  4. Got it in a lucky bag by the looks of it.
  5. Need me a new pair. Some fast and hard facts from a thread elsewhere, I don't need/want: Steel toe caps. Shit grips. Cost over €100. Walking/Work/Rigger boots of any type whatsoever. I would like: Warm. Comfortable. Durable. Grippy. Already tried & killed: Muck boot Esk. Dunlop Purofort + I live in my wellies, farm in them, hunt in them, day & night. Ideas please
  6. I've used 3.5inch 64 gram bb's, they were expensive, but that's not why I don't use them anymore. They kick like a donkey. Shot a few clays with them one day, that was fun, not many got away to breed for the next year.
  7. No you won't. I've shot plenty of foxes and rabbits that way. My lamping buddy has being shooting foxes for 20 years that way, I haven't seen him miss one yet. what sort of distance have you been doin fox like that. Me, out to 55 yards with 34/36gm BB's. My friend has got them a bit farther again.

  9. That lad is gonna get himself eaten lol, reckon a lions jaws are a little stronger than a fox's. I can picture Jig smeared in sheep guts catching eagles single handed on mountains in Kerry You even have the camera crew to go do it now
  10. Nutjob, he didn't get what he deserves (AFAIK) but he got a good kicking.
  11. Posh c**t!!...I was thinking some Strawberry Jam........ Plain old Lurpak spread all over it then Danish shite, you need Kerrygold on it
  12. Thought I replied to this earlier, but I must've pressed the wrong button. I cut the meat in to the bone, as I'd never de boned anything before, had no internet connection so I just went with the recipe. Hadn't enough string either! But it held together well thankfully. Moxy, the mash was lovely!
  13. I've never had venison would you believe, so I can't say. I thought fruitier stuff went better with bambi? I am sure there's a good recipe out there for it though. Have to say boning wasn't as straight forward as I expected, but I still have all 9 fingers
  14. We got 4 lambs killed last week, defrosted a leg and boned and rolled it. Used a Jamie Oliver recipe, well part used it as life interrupted my cooking so noth everything went in. Turned out lovely, too much lemon though as there was somewhat of a sharp taste to the stuffing. http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/lamb-recipes/stuffed-leg-of-lamb-with-rosemary-and-pine-nuts Before it met the oven: Before it met me (that's packet gravy, I hadn't time to make the real deal).

Even brought it to the hill with me, saw two, who even at 300 yards away took off and went the wrong way (for me). They obviously have been reading internet forums shiting on about how deadly the hmr is at that range lol

  17. I don't know how the cops themselves do it, I do know how a solicitor does it but would rather not be specific should it give anyone watching ideas. I posted something on another site and got a knock on my door from two cops making enquiries (nothing bad on my part). First thing anyone would know about it is when they're there looking for you. There's no advanced warning.
  18. It'd be done through the cops or solicitor. All cops would need is you IP number and they'll arrive at your door.
  19. There'll have to be a stewards inquiry on that claim
