  1. Twas only fupping divine, unfortunately I had to bolt it down as I was late for an agriculture meeting. Didn't do the leek mash, threw in a tablespoon of the wholegrain mustard intot he mash with the required Kerrygold butter also, nom! Now, tomorrow nights menu, all things going to plan, will consist of this and this for the fussy eaters.
  2. http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1719634/lamb-chops-with-leek-mash-and-mustard-sauce Fingers crossed it turns out well
  3. Lol, sounds about right to me, can't be too careful.
  4. I left a few in a drill until now, just to see how they'd keep. Dug them out this morning and considering all the rain, frost, slugs, wire worm etc. they had to contend with they came through well. The real test will be tonight, with the peeling and eating of them. I maybe lost three or four spuds, there may be more bad inside yet, we'll see later.
  5. I wonder did the cold have a hand in there somewhere? That misfire though, I was waiting for it to go POP! under his face.
  6. Belgium says no. That's an end to it.
  7. I'm going to try this again on Thursday, except in the slow cooker this time.
  8. Mad as a box of frogs all the same.
  9. The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
  10. Probably just recruited some masochists who'll enjoy it.
  11. Click the little cog icon on the photo you want to resize (if you can't see it hover your mouse pointer over the photo in question, it will appear). Press the cog icon, and select "Edit". Click "Adjustment". Click "Resize". 800 x 600 pixels is a good size for forums. Keep the "Keep Proportions" options selected, it should be selected automatically. It will keep the height and size relative so as not to squish or stretch the photo. If all that fails you can resize the photo on your computer using a programme like Paint.
  12. Too many great Westerns for me to be listing off. "Fill your hands you son-ov-a-bitch" being one good quote. But, Rio Bravo has to be the most enjoyable for me. The "Good guy" Western's can't be beat IMO. Fuckit, I wanna get me a horse now And anything with Walter Brennan in it is OK by me
  13. The best way of dealing with shit in life is to make damn sure it flows both ways!

  14. nice looking dog in your avitar it canny jump... Lol Lol, takes me back to teaching our dog to jump sheep net fences, he thought he could jump the entire fence length ways rather than just hop straight over
  15. I was looking at this on Ebay 121054875933. And yes, I do concede they look incredibly ghey, but they also look incredibly warm Not into fingerless gloves, I want to keep my fingers together, have had bad expierences with good gloves, I think keeping fingers separate for me is a bad choice.
  16. That's as near as I want to see it, thanks.
  17. Well, "his dog" anyway, someone had to take the photo!
  18. Not sure of the correct name for them. Like a glove but keeps 4 fingers together. Looking for a pair for lamping, which normally consists of me standing around in the cold and wind for long periods, cold hands already. Wind and waterproof, and warm would be good. Don't want anything "heated", in my expeirence those items are just gimmicks. Anyone use them?

    >This< is a great little idea if ever I could get the thing to work. You can use Caller ID to "name" your phone(s) locations, gates or sheds etc. (Your man with the site is a pure anti mind). Alarm mines if your neighbours aren't too close by. Punji pits if they are, the screaming might bother them mind. Machine gun nests and minefields if you can get away with it.
  20. Last time we got snow 09 or 10, I was straight out in it with the car, ordinary saloon. The amount of people bitching and moaning they couldn't go here, couldn't go there, was unreal. Coming down a decent hill on ice through forestry (shaded all day) with the sheep trailer on (unloaded) was the only "SHIT!" type moment I had, could feel the trailer pushing a bit, which I figured would make the rear end of the car slide, let the car travel faster and all ended well. Was strange driving over 5+ inches of ice, looking at the dotted lines get turned into squiggly lines through all that water. Was
  21. I've seen full lambs offered for sale from butchers for anything from €130 - €160. Slaughter and cutting up here will cost €25 per lamb. Other costs will vary wildly depending on individual farm and farming practices. I have to admit to not knowing the cost of my own! It's something I need to track a hell of a lot better.
  22. An example of when it's handy to be a "prepper", not in the doomsday sense, but in the common sense sense of having enough food, fuels, and essential items on hand to last a period of time.
  23. Thanking you, I never knew there was a photobucket app, that'll come in handy, nice pic by the way
