  1. you think thats bad,i tried a toblerone
  2. I agree a ESS will definitely suit yourself now you have mentioned what activities it will be doing, what are you looking for in the dog and so on, some good litters about currently, think some are priced excessively, know of a great litter in ireland and transportation can be arranged, with a quality pedigree and priced unbelievably cheap,
  3. like the two larger dogs, especially the one with a rough jacket... Welcome to the forum aswell mate
  4. Totally agree Donny, got a bit of a wait until you breed buddy and why go for the easiest option, I'd be looking for a great Border to put over her if she's got the minerals.
  5. absolute crackers, good luck with them
  6. Hello all, I know its a funny one to advertise but thought I would put my daughters pram up, its in the best of used condition and is suitable from birth upto 3years old, benefits from being made out of memory foam for pure comfort. I have only advertised it on here to maybe help someone out, these retail at around the £400 mark but it can be yours for around £150. If interested PM. Will get images up if people are genuinely interested.
  7. is cooking a roast and then going out with the dogs.

  8. judge I could do with what your getting haha.

  9. Well done PP, dogs looking well and given turbotyke loads of feedback on her, looks like she's got a good home there with you
  10. You know that the price varies with the pups, but your looking around £800 and over for a dog which is trained, or has had some good training behind it, I agree with Hily a lab will be better suited to yourself, Good Luck with whatever you get
  11. agree, the dog is doing everything which comes natural,
  12. TT agree that its a method to stop chasing, but not in a 2year old dog where in my opinion the chasing will be instilled, and when check cord is removed the dog will go back to habits... I might be wrong, but its going to be alot of work and there may be no joy at the end of it...
  13. no worries mate, well if you and your friend are happy with the dog and it was gifted than thats what matters, have fun with it, won't do any party any harm
  14. in my opinion this dog is going to struggle to become a sit to flush dog, and its no good that its pegging game, personally I wouldn't waste my time on it, it will be too much hard work as the chase seems like at the age of 2 that it will be instilled. be best off buying a pup...this is a reason for not buying something already started, you usually end up with someones messed up rubbish, sorry for being harsh but in my opinion thats the truth, just hope your friend didn't spend alot of money on it.
  15. agree with the above Time to crack on, but don't bore the dog
  16. Nik, as realised you are now at that dreaded teenager phase, but remember when you were an exuberant lad and you were upto no good, imagine if your guardian wanted to cut your nuts off! Thats not the route to take... I would come away from exercise in the park now and start settling into training with firm constant handling which will get results, when he doesn't respond to the recall there is only one thing you can do and thats reinforce the command, if he ignores get straight out after him and show him your displeasure, when the command is obeyed lots of fuss exactly like a pup. This
  17. Made up for you mate, hopefully none of the prospective owners are time wasters, Good Luck to those who had a pup, they looked like belters, and fair play to a genuine honest lad in "The Fezz" reared well and priced great
  18. Hi all, if anyone is interested in the dvd's give me a shout, ideal for the spaniel trainer, take you right from picking a puppy to a trained dog. Don't have to say much about them really, the names speak for themselves and these dvd's are a great source of info and training tips, both dvd's for £35 excluding postage or £15 for Ed, and £25 for Davids. PM If interested
  19. Fair play to you Mr H, getting the dog out of there, cock hungry slut should of got rid of the dog sooner, and then had fun with her dirty jungle bunny. Hope the dog settles mate.
  20. I have got no idea about it, but one thing I know about is that dog shouldn't of been used at stud, thats disgraceful.
  21. haven't read the whole topic, but its a great one for me I use a sock
  22. great reply Mickey Totally agree, allow the pup to be a pup and don't set the dog up to fail, if she is busy exploring wait until she has finished that and lost interest and then call her in with you walking in the opposite way works everytime whilst they are this age, or you could also use the method the about turn, it entails you blowing the recall whistle, running off in the opposite direction without any noise and so on, show no interest in the dog, when the dog has caught you up you sharply turn again (the about turn) then sink down low with loads of fuss as the pup will be itching t
