  2. Hi there I have looked on a spaniel pedigree databse, google lochindorb. No info came up on Bruiser of Studham, have you got the dogs sire and dam names, what info do you want to know? Steadroc staddle stones is a well bred dog, his brother sker is a great sire and we don't have to talk about his sire "Art" his name speaks for itself!
  3. Dave just take your time mate, I'm sure you will do well with her, that whistle is ideal, I use a long blow for the stop, double pip for a turn and repetitive blow for a recall. None of this is needed for a while, you could use the recall one when your putting the dogs bowl out, associate the sound with someting pleasurable and instill a nice recall. If you ever need books give me a shout and I will sort them out cheap for you, I have a few books around the place. The key to the whitsle is to keep it nice and soft and quiet, aswell as your voice, dog will tune in more, that my advi

  16. regarding making a mess in the house, the dog isn't housetrained, you need to start over again like ou would a pup, lots of time outside encouraging the dog to go, lots of fuss when it happens, don't be rubbing the dogs nose in its mess or any tactics like that, the dog needs to be caught in the act, firm NO, taken outside and left there. The penny will soon drop but your parents will have to be vigilant and carry the procedure through without any harsh treatment. Treat the dog like a pup regarding house training, and regarding doing it on there bed heard theories about the dog doing that d

Yeh the dog sould be fine don't worry about that, aslong as the dog is from a strong working line it should be fine, my two are, the youngster with the most potential is from a pedigree which doesn't have many ftch's in it but he's a dream - full of natural ability.. regarding them dvd's they are really expensive but definitely worth it mate, look on ebay at joe irving, that may be the best port of call
