  1. haha dave c, a bad one i must of got excited, computer froze at the time didn't even think i sent 1, let alone 3 haha.
  2. I would go with Thurso Jack's advice, you have to be quick and get the dog to sit in the spot when you commanded. be quick and after a number of times the dog will soon cotton on, the key to the exercise is tiny lil steps, don't set the dog up to fail, do the exercise when you are sure you have a good chance of success. then like everything else make it harder and harder til you are having the dog stopping to a flush.

  5. Dell what a great shout, thats the route I would take personally, there is many trainers out there looking for dogs for detection work, I have 2 friends who do it and the madder the better!! GOOD LUCK
  6. jeyes and water mate, you have got it sorted
  7. no need to worry mate, as longas its not near the sleeping area its fine, perfectly nomal behaviour, just keep on top with the cleaning.
  8. looks spot on mate, bet your buzzing with him, great name also.
  9. i'm with above, just needs that bit more put into it, looks like a straight staff to me, if you get him in top condition he will look spot on. get going on it mate and get the before and after images up!! What you feeding him on??
  10. puppyhood for you mate, I am going through it also, puppys are hard work at times, HAve you got concrete flooring in your run, ie flags or concrete itself??? I wouldn't worry about it to much, the pup will sort his act out with the dirtys soon, how big is your run?? Its hard to answer as I don't know the whole situation??? If he is soiling his sleeping area that is a huge problem for yourself and really needs to be addressed, but if the run is large enough and he is doing his business in the exercise area I wouldn't worry. He will gradually get cleaner as he is bigger, just think of babies
  11. i agree with the fella above me, people should wind their necks in and mind their own business, i am not a dog dealer i just think its people who shout their mouths off are the sort of fooking pratts that got us banned from coursing in the firstplace "do gooders"!!!!! if the bloke wants to give his dog away then so what??? its his dog, this site gets on my nerves sometimes  not causing an argument here lads, but look at it from everyone elses point of view, why not advertise her as a free "PET" not a brood bitch, don't you's think there is enough lurchers/ greyhounds about withou
  12. hopefully the dog is feeling better soon, horrible accident hey mate
  13. good luck on the pup mate, keep us informed with the progress and also the images, look spot on.

  15. haven't got a clue mate, must be someway of getting to a vet though, how serious are the scolds, couldn't you soothe the scolds with damp cold towels. just a though hopefully you get some better advice. let us know how it goes
  16. haha don't tempt me mate, I have got a 15week old dog pup here now, i am having to find a new home because of him. landlords are :wankerzo4: whats the difference 1 dog to 2. I would want a bitch out of this breeding if i am honest with you mate. I will promise you this now though, if these turn out good un's and you have repeat mating next year or the year after I will have one, drop me a PM and we can share personal details. If i am sorted in the next few months and there is any bitch returns, i'm your man. GOOD LUCK WITH THEM
  17. is the dog a "beating" dog...is this its purpose. If so wouldn't worry about the retrieving... its not its purpose. If you want the dog to be an all rounder I would honestly stop the retrieving for a good while, then gradually bring it back into training. regards
  18. sounds like your doing everything right, don't worry its the age mate might last a few months and then all will get better, I feel sorry for you mate, but honestly its the normal.....just think of a teenager, that is the stage the pup is going through. Keep up the hard work, it will work out okay
  19. Cracking pups, great markings, great breeding and they all look like lookers. Well done on the breeding mate, this isn't any ordinary litter, looks like you've reared them well. Good Luck with the sale hope they all find A* homes, wish I never seen them..... I want one. My type of litter. Regards RS

  25. me too, great idea. i think its unfair that a dog without paperwork can't compete, as long as there is proof its the same dog, whats stopping it competing!!
