  5. thanks for the advice all, monitored the dog yesterday, and there has been huge improvement, back to normal colour and the consistency is much better, I will keep monitoring the situation but hopefully everything is back to normal, he had normal control again and there has been no mess. "Fabo" I also thought there may of been a foreign object in his digestion system, thats why I asked the question. Thanks for the info. Kind Regards and thanks for the advice much appreciated. Ricky
  6. spot on, bet your over the moon mate. Ricky
  7. Skycat thank you very much for a good imformative reply, I come to two conclusions before I asked the qustion I just wanted to make sure I was right, that is too much tripe has been fed, aswell as the amount has been too much for the pup. Thanks for the responses, situation will be sorted out and hopefully I won't be cleaning up to much shit. Regards RS
  8. thanks pal, would you say the looseness is coming from not having much bone???
  9. Alright lads and lass's, After some good advice regarding loose bowls. I have a pup where everything was going well with the BARF he has been on it for around 2.5 months, having the occasional loose movement but recently its been bloody awful. I must admit, there hasn't been much bone in his diet in the past few days, he has been having green tripe aswell as steak. Will these be the reasons for him passing a tar looking movement aswell as being very often, he doesn't seem to have any control over his movement. Or could it be to over feeding him on the stuff. Its got that ba
  10. Well done mate, buzzing for you and your bitch has done a good job with them... They look spot on, very flashy looking with all the white, price is fair also, GOOD LUCK with the sale. RS
  11. personally mate I wouldn't be advertising o here, its a huge shame for you. wish you all the look in the world with the rehoming, if i had the facilities i would have them here for a short while and help out with the whelping. ££££ is going to be the factor for a lot of people and the bitch may be disregarded after the sale of the pups. I hope someone steps forward who is completely genuine and offers the two a home, or 2 seperate parties where the dogs will have a good full time life with the pups reared correctly. If in doubt mate, get intouch with a spaniel rescue. They will
  12. great offer, well done to you rob, it will be great to get the dog on the real thing instead of dummys. RS
  13. nice stamp of a springer, its always good fun to see them begin to hunt and use their nose, well done and keep us posted on further training of her. regards RS
  14. I have been reading this thread with great interest... I am in a similar situation with my springer bitch, she has become very disobedient whilst out on the walk and won't come near me unless its on her terms, I have come to the conclusion with mine is that its a transition due to havig a new pup and she is playing up, also she is due a season. That makes the lil madames disobediet. I am currently doing exercise with her without any pressure, I am letting her get on with her lil naughty turn because I know she will come out of it with my patience, I must admit when it first begun I was tou
  15. i think that is it, you just need the right set up!!
  16. personally I would leave a stud dog alone, how many bitches have you got?? My reasoning for this is he isn't going to serve a bitch every season they come into, this will cause alot of frustration on his part and potentially alot of noise from him. You have another dog to exercise, work and feed. I would rather use good quality stud dogs who you go to and pay a stud fee. Alot easier in my opinion. The positives though are you have always got a stud to call upon, another potential good gundog, you could make money on using him as an open stud to others (think of the more dogs bei
  17. GOOD LUCK with it all, hope there isn't too much disturbance with all the noise from tonight!! Keep us posted pal
  18. i'm with above, good way of getting dog fit aswell as doing something yourself.

  20. That's a great ending to a horrible start: I'd love to hear more about her: how old was she when you got her? Got any pics of her: I'm a sentimental old fool and love to hear happy ending stories LOL ME TOO, Tell us more please and get some images up.
  21. mine are fed on whole rabbit, they love it pal, with you being into your ferreting you will have loads of supplies, get a freezer mate and rig it up in a garge or shed or something. If you buy the Barf in I believe that there can be a bit of a cost to it, due to some packaged whole feed being £10, which lasts for weeks. The thing is quality though pal, and the difference is huge on the BARF. Personally I am one very lucky lad, I now have a friend off here, who supplies me the feed for free. You can also go to your local butcher he may give you some or sell it for a low price. Rem
  22. To be honest don't know much about the gear, but Father in Law has asked me to put it on here, LOT 1 is Canon lens 400mm 1:56 Looking for £225 or there abouts. LOT 2 is Canon lens 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 DL Macro £225 or there abouts. LOT 3 is a Canon Battery grip, unsure of price. Will find out if interested If interested in any of these items please get intouch, I must be honest that I am unable to give advice as I haven't got a clue about photography, prices are very fair according to Father in Law, aswell as all items being well looked after, he is only selling due to a new set
  23. Just because a dog is easy to train doesn't mean they're smart. great shout pal, many of the dogs which people can't train are too clever for their own good, obviouslt there is dogs which are thick and not biddable at all, but many are too clever for a poor trainer!
  24. valuev will stop haye, he is too big,too strong and to finish it off hayes chin is very suspect!
  25. All for RAW food mate, will never look back, the key is variety aswell as the diet being balanced, one thing I don't enjoy is the cutting up of green tripe into managable sizes haha.
