this is my sprocker pup , 3/4 cocker 1/4 springer.
its my first gundog as i have only ever kept lurchers and terriers. she's bright as anything and learns fast.
shes a lot more advanced for her age than any lurcher or terrier pup i have had
hope you get them back ASAP chester.all this dog robbing is getting way out of hand now.like people have said there must be people on this site who know is responsible for this.SO DO THE RIGHT THING and help get this lad his dogs back.
As for you "tod" your two mutts have had a fair few of them EASY Yorkshire bunnies lately havn't they??? I've heard your two will not get out the car now anywhere besides Yorkshire??? You have to drag them out the boot kicking and screaming!!!! LOL
Scouser3038
yes they have had a few latley lol.
as for the kicking and screaming you will know about that with nipper lol
known plenty to be all that at 2 year old but after a couple more seasons they have jibbed. if it was me i would work her hard for a few more seasons before i considerd breeding of the bitch.
no having a go labsnlurchers but do you not think 2 year old is a bit young.
it might have proved to be a good bitch but it cant have proved enough to breed off.jmho
hello oneredtrim ,
done nothing different with him than i do with any of my other dogs apart from a bit of whistle training , think he was just one of them dogs that you only get one of in a lifetime , well for me anyway.
this black&tan is the best cover dog i ever owned.he would work any cover and any quarry all day long.he was obedient as any spaniel and he put many of them to shame lol.he could kill a good winter fox above or below ground single handed.he would hunt for scent and not just hunt on scent.i have had a few more terriers since but nothing to compare to this lad.
i have just got a sprocker pup (3/4 cocker 1/4 springer) for bushing foxes in places were you cant use terriers
have to agree with you there lucky there is a lot of shite about not just in the bull breeds either.some people do just keep them as status symbols , parading round the shows pulling there arm off lol.i think a lot of the youngins with them and some older expect them to do whats written on the tin which just isnt the case.but as for one trick ponys , maybe the majority of half xs are but my 3/4 breds were bred for all quarry apart from the obvious and are faring well at the moment but its still early days.they are as obedient and as good on rabbits than any collie x i have seen and i have seen
