The bitch is lurchers x racing whippet/Brittany. The pedigree of the lurchers goes back generations and if you go back enough there is kelpie, huskie, Ibiza hound and lots more. The britanny was introduced because it had the supplest shoulders they had ever come across. Hope this helps a little. I have pics of the lurcher and whippet/Brittany if people want to see them and they are the grandparents to these pups. Does anyone work these dogs in enclosed countryside as a posed to on the fens. In other words hunt them in small fields and how do they get on?

No there is no collie in her. The sire was half racing whippet half britany spaniel and the dam has a massive pedigree other than lurcher, whippet and greyhound on the dams side I know there was husky and airdale a long way down the line.
