Iv got a bitch which is ready to drop at the end of the week but iv noticed in the last couple of weeks when I go down the kennels to clean her out it stinks terrible an the wood shavings are soaking and it's shit is always runny I wondered if anyone has had the same problem or knows what this could be. Any help is appreciated. Thanks for reading. paulhodge

i bought the 14ah and its spot on wouldn carry the old type battery again. put the lithium on my belt and i dont know its there.worth every penny and i bought mine out of the countrymans weekly it was on special offer for £140 i think from £180 (at the time last year) sure it would be a bit cheaper now

Get a lurcher for the job it will Mark like a terrier but a lot more chance of catching the ones what slip the net beddy x wippet or something along those lines

cheers lads i haven been to buy one was just thinking about it and looking at them. are they always in 4x4 just asking because i saw a picture of inside one and looked as though there was only one gear stick rather than the usual two in other 4x4s

yeah my mate rang me not long ago and said you had cancelled. its a shame cos we were looking forward to it a week on friday. put a fair bit of time into our dogs to try and get them the best we could. shame its been spoiled for the genuine lads id say

opinions on starting a young lurcher

cheers for your replys i was thinking i should leave her a bit longer, just dont want to put loads of effort then spoil her thats all. she is a collie/wippet/greyhound and quite flighty at the minute. she is retrieving a dummy in garden but loses interest quite quickly. -
i bought a pup about a month ago but now she is 7 months old and is catching drop rabbits easy but how old would be best to run her on the lamp on rabbits as i dont want to rush and spoil her. also got her for ferreting and at what age would be best to take her there and how to go about learning her with ferrets and around the warrens. any opinions and advice wanted. thanks paulhodge

i have built a few block kennels for my mates and even though you get a few things cheap by the time everything ads up it works out expensive, but worth it if its done right.

iv never known my lurcher to mark but just recently he seems to sniff round all of the setts but sometimes lies down with his head just outside of the rabbit hole. i was thinking he might have just started. what are other peoples opinions.

if you know anyone whos deaf just get some batterys off them which they use in their hearing aids. my mate gives me a pack but when they all flat i have to give him them back in the packet so he can change them for a new packet for free

just wondering what peoples thinking of the snow that we v had. its no good for my line of work (bricklaying) BUT i like goin ferreting in it so its not all bad eh.
