    is it one of yours paul? i believe the muscle loss could be secondary to the possible renal failiure? (caused by toxins from muscle breakdown) i would say it would take longer to rebuild skeletal muscle ( bone /muscle tie ins etc etc) than muscle mass but i have only read a tiny bit myself and have had no experiance of this first hand at all.

    i went to return my dads scarifier ( a lawn tool jobby) today to notice his gate was open and he was away for the weekend( the old boy is very finicky and does not forget stuff like that) so i went round the back to check all was well, and found the patio door open. some f****r had broken in. taken the lcd tv and laptop out of the living room and been through the drawers in the bedrooms. i would wish for nowt more than to have caught that tw@ in the house!!!!! robbing and old man who worked his whole life for what he has? ( to be fair he would knock the crap out of most men half his age

    i can vouch for the quality of alex's knives,they come darn sharp and ready to go anyone after a wee rabiting knife i can only reccomend his "kneck survival knives", nice small blades which have and hold an edge ( we all know how sharp a knife has to be to paunch 10+ warm bunnies). looking forward to seeing some more of your work alex ( i like the "spiderco" type blade in the pics. waidmannsheil!!

    good thread mate if you want to push the goats on a driven shoot its those paths the guns need to be near ( thats how they drive the mountain goats in germany/austria where they have the same problems with the terrain). waidmannsheil!!

    my grandad used to make us" eeling knives" when we were kids from saw blades thats why i thought of it ( also all of his carving/as in wood cutting blades were of this stuff) he was a carpenter of the very old school and sharp was blunt untill it was very sharp!!!!!! ( eeling knives had a sharp "V" and the rest was blunt, a good idea i think, as you could only cut within the "V" i.e. the eels spine!!) i am afraid i have long since lost mine. nice looking blade there gaffer!
