  1. Remind me in future not to buy a dog for more than 50 quid off this man please!! P.s. it's never a good idea to assume others live by your moral standards
  2. Have to agree with you both, top lad and on the doorstep
  3. The bitch to these pups is 5 or 6 and tis is her second litter, does that sound like money making to you? The man has bred a litter of VERY well bred and still relatively rare dogs and is still questioned as to why they cost so much? If they are too expensive for you why bother commenting on the post? If you don't like kc registering buy a non kc reg dog? Now why not let FOR SALES thread take its course. This site is f*****g unreal.
  4. If you could have a look how many you have I would be grateful bud
  5. Is anyone selling any young Guineafowl around the Telford (shropshire) area? I would be looking for between 10 and 20 keets depending on price. Feel free to pm or ring 07837251317. Cheers, Mike
  6. Not sure if the above is Mia or mo ( mother to these pups or mine lol)
  7. Matt These are Slovakian, I have a bitch from last year from Ian (stoaty) and I must say the temperament is a dream both in the house and in the field, all of the working assets we could want under dog and hawks ( pointing, marking, retrieving, steadiness) are present. Very loyal dogs which will work their hearts out for you. I wish Ian the very best of homes for these pups, the new owners I wish as pleasant and loyal a pup as I have. Waidmannsheil!!
  8. I have the German hunting licence and it took a lot longer than six weekends lol. It entailed two days at uni per week and shooting at weekends for months, it had a pass rate of roughly 50% in the 90's it may be different now. As a non German you will be allowed to do the same test ( written) in your own language, I am not sure how the oral exam works for non German speakers as I did the lot in German. You can get a foreigners hunting licence ( Ausländer jagdschein) but you do have to do the tests. I can see no easy way around it, and as for being relaxed you are far wrong. The l
  9. I have a female which I will be flying at magpies etc this season( my first season with a spar) bosting little birds.
  10. If I were asked to recommend someone for gun work it would be mike Norris You won't be disappointed. Waidmannsheil !!
  11. A ferret nose/muzzle? Reminds me of a girl I knew ............. Lmao
  12. Is this gun still available bud?
  13. The Buttery FarmKynnersley Telford Shropshire TF6 6EG Phone: 01952 670198 Fax: 01952 670198 Top bloke to deal with, knows his onions.
  14. A lot of these things came back from the trenches after the war (1st) so it may well have some antique value. As above I wouldn't want to be caught with it lol
  15. A mate had a spar last year which took dozens of magpies and a few crows, a very up close way to hawk them! Sadly she died when he started feeding her up to moult. This is what inspired me to get an imprint spar for this season ( my first accipiter ) which I intend to use on magpies mainly.
  16. Just restored one of these air guns and have been having some great fun with it tbf ! Really nice to shoot and Acurate as hell for a springer! All the best with the sale buddy.
  17. They have Weimaraner in the breed make up somewhere along the lines but are a steadier dog in general. I am sure Ian can be more specific and give advice on sites to visit if interested. I have been around a few weimaraner on small and large game ( my mother has a weimy dog too), and I must say the bitch I have here would run rings around them both at home and in the field. Her coat will take some beating and the temperament is an absolute dream, very intelligent and quick to learn/eager to please. Not as quick to mature as some breeds but why would we want to rush things lol. Waidmanns
  18. Very pleased for you Ian, these will make good falconry dogs whichever one you keep. Lads I have a bitch from the last litter out Ian's Mia and am very pleased with her progress in the field under hawk and gun. An amazing breed! Waidmannsheil!!
  19. It would depend what type of shooting you want to do? A lot of low light /moonlight shooting I would have the 8x56 up against any other scope for light transmission, they are known in germany as "sauen glas" (pig/boar glasses). If its a lot of walking up/stalking in daylight hours or with the lamp then I would go for the lighter and probably cheaper 6 x 42 ( I do prefer to have an adjustable scope for this type of thing tbf) Hope this helps a bit, Waidmannsheil!!
  20. Minimum weights for foxes at the trial are I think 6 kilogram, no more than a decent hare.
