  1. Hi there we have a bull whippet/greyhound/saluki bitch. She is now 7 mths old (sorry no pic just yet) As I already own two headstrong terriers I have found her a breeze!! However I have noticed at times a small reluctance to come back to us but her nature is such that if you repeat ''good girl, good girl'' and crouch down she more often than not comes to you wagging her tail. Once she has had her runs and tired a bit she will walk well to heel rest of the walk, cant say the same for the terriers though!!! We still have a way to go with her but have patience and take things slowly and I'm sure
  2. Hi there I have owned a rough coated male jck russell for 8 yrs now he is very quiet and sharp on rats and mice but too noisy after rabbits though he does flush them out!! My smooth parson russell terrier bitch will work a hedge all day quietly and methodically she is wonderful to watch!! Incidently does anyone know why I got sneered at with her at a terrier show at country fayre!! I do show her under kennel club rules but work her also she is not just a show dog!!!!
  3. Gorgeous looking dog!! our lurcher is bull whippet/greyhound/saluki she is a beatiful red fawn colour. A few people said we could have problems having one with saluki breeding. She is only 7 mths but already very loyal and lightening quick!! My dad used to hunt with lurchers and advised me to start her with a lamp at night and not in the daytime at this age would anyone agree or have any other advice.
  4. Just found this website. My name is hannah and I live with my partner kevin. We live on a rare breeds pedrigree meats farm in herefordshire. We have an 8yr old male rough coated jack russell called sam, a smooth parson russell terrier bitch called rosie and a lurcher (bull whippet/greyhound/saluki) called inca. rosie is 2yrs old now but inca is only 7 mths still learning what her legs are for! My terriers are true to breed! It is a battle to get them out of the hedges! We use them for ratting, mousing, flushing out rabbits and the odd vole gets caught!
