Been looking for a pup from a similar cross (don't mind if there was collie in the mix) for the last 9mths but everything has Bull or Saluki in it, each to his own but Bull/Saluki isn't something I'm after. If you are still looking for a pup i no he has got a litter from Butlers half brother If you could PM me details that'd be great but I'd better be clear (don't want to waste your time ), I am looking for a pup that is weeks old not months and though I don't mind a bit of travel, I am up in Northumberland! they are about 12 weeks i think. b

    Yes he is my dog credit to ya mr brook, love this type of dog, he is identicle to the sire of my new pup and im hopin he will turn out similar. what way is he bred exactly? has he done much? He is deerh/greyh/whip/bed. just use him for rabbit now days, but was a really good hare dog before it got band

    All salukis are slow lol. this one aint slow well i cant catch the feker anyway !! Hear that alot fella,from most owners of salukis,once they let them of the lead they cant catch them lol

    i understand what your saying but if they take to the malamute they would still be athletic surely? not as fast but still very durable with stamina to burn. i guess its like the collie very few first cross's about, but alot more 1/4 or less.the diffrent being the collie give you stamina and brain, and any waste would just look like a collie. Dont get me wrong i think you have a good point but it is abit of a unknown & you would have to water it down to a 1/4 or less to get the benafit out of the cross,the kind of time most people do not have.

    i should think it comes down to how much waste you would get in a litter. a first cross grey/husky would give you about 70% waste i.e the dogs would not be of the atletic type that we think of with the lurcher.where as a greyhound cross any of the sighthound you get very little waste.
