Excellent ss, your doing a mighty job and fair play to your whippet, he did

Hey Von, how you doing..... I had a waist belt for a few seasons, hated it, you could never get in comfy and it always fell of jumping fences etc..... had the same problem with mine.a battery either side of he waist and it keep falling down when getting over gates and ditches. i then taped them together and put them in a camera bag over the shoulder and as a camera bag is padded(obviously to protect a expensive camera) it is very comfortable.

i like for em to take them on the run too lol. all dogs are different like all rabbits are different. ya ever see the same run twice which prob makes us keep going out. some dogs are more of a sit back ad run the rabbit til it turns from the ditch with excellent percision.some go balls out getting burnt on the turn but take the most spectactular rabbits with some dogs being in between and different dependng on there speed, brain and strike. all dogs are different.
-
some strike better than others no matter how much there brought out but is it down to the indvidual dog or the breeding??? i do not know as iv seen difference,s from litter mates with regarding there striking ability. i think its down to the indvidual dog.

my grandad had an irish terrier that would mark, and catch bolted rabbits.in them days the rabbits were for the pot. was a bitch he had that would walk to heal in heavy traffic around the city. from what he has told me she put food on the table,in the 30ies when they had no food at dinner time alot of the times.something we take for granted now!i wonder how many would run a bullx if there daily food was decided in what the dog caught.how things have changed for some eh.

REally are good - wish I could take a shot half as good as them. The dogs a beauty too mate!
