  7. i use a cannon 1000d kay but with the standard 55mm lens which is great for still shots but in all honestly totally crap for action shots so i was shocked with that one lol

  11. meself and the bro decided to go out and do a bit of ferreting today... seemed a good idea at the time with it being overcast today.. when we arrived at our permission even though still overcast it was very warm id say 20 degrees or so... with that there was about 400billion flies buzzing around us and the dogs ;D ;D so we decided to do just 1 ground set as we were there n all... so in went the ferret..we had the pup and the black dog with us and and they waited for a bolter... within a few minutes a rocket propelled rabbit came out and was narrowly missed at the first attempt.then t

  15. thats a cracking kennel there mate
  16. firstly i take it you will be night fishing for them? you can use alot of different methods that work. depends what depth of water the fish are in for what type of line to use? a surface lure on floating line can work.. also tube fly,s,medicne e.t.c. will all work... the most important is to get the fly to the fish at a correct depth and speed... intermediate, sink tip lines can help ya achive this. also weighted fly,s... so really just get your fly to the correct depth and present it in a natural manner... regards SS
  17. me too..really funny wilf the only difference with my dogs from during the season and now is there not getting any work now! there still road walked every day and fed the same food 50%rabbit50% nuts only that in the off season they get low protein nuts and when i start hunting they get high protien... other than that i have em as fit as i can have em... regards SS
  18. i was after one of these dogs over here but found alot of racing lines which turned me off gettin one... if ya can get a good workin parents then i think the would exceed at rabbits and hares... especially over here as with our small fields and ditches and dykes the hare has to be taken quickly or not at all... so no need to cross it to a saluki as we have no fens or extremly large fields.... so it depends what type of land you have and what you want the dog to do... regards SS
