fair play supersam.your red dog is identical 2 my bitch and the same age i allso got her from wexford they have 2 be brother and sister she got her first fox 2 day while out mooching with my 3 terriers and whippet a monster of a dog fox gave my whippet an awfull gruelling they were mouth 2 mouth for about 10 mins both done me proud on there first fox have it recorded on my phone.what part of cork u from. cheers lad!!! well done on your first fox with yours too sounds like they had a fight on their hands.. great to hear about your bitch,i got mine of percy who was a mamber on here. no

if he was from irish lady lines,there would be deerhound in the mix asweell,as she was deerhound x irish terrier keep going with your one trick poney,s kid.. and sure if they turn away from rabbits and hares on the lamp and will not even run em during the day then there,s always ferreting..but when they lie down and pay no interest in when the ferret is in ground then what do ya do? you should know thanks for your input on 2 dogs running a rabbit though as you seem to think you know alot looks like murph aint from those lines after all,is that what you were told by PM..how dare you

these are mine almost finished.. cost about €1,500 so far but got some of the stuff for free the shed is 20x10ft with 3 runs inside and the outside runs are just under 7ft wide and 16ft long... i done all the work myself and i think if you were to pay for something like this in full then id say it would cost about € 3000 plus labour.

cheers lads.. pup is going well now and ferreting and lamping well.. im not too bothered with the red fella,s really as my main quarry is rabbits but nice to get one once in a while

dont worry kid it will thaw up by ya soon just a pity the rain was down in such force tonight as this was suppose to be our first stop and then were suppose to go to our rabbit spot but sure stil just nice to get out

well the ferrets hair aint going to fall out imo... mabey the rabbit kicked the ferret and even though he didint see it at the time with the blood then it kicked the hair off the ferret in ground... as iv seen many of mine with grazes with no hair from rabbits kickin them.. mabey it just git kicked to a condition that it couldnt recover from its injurys? as stealty said its hard to tell without seeing the ferret

thanks for the reply rich... and tonight was a bit of a change to what i usually do but was good all the same.. its great to see the dogs can turn there hands to anythin.. i know of alot bigger deerx lurchers alot bigger dogs to what i have bark at foxes and not go on!!! rabbits or still my main quarry but mine have caught other quarry and its good to have an allround lurcher

very true catcher 1.. iv put alot of time into my dogs and it was nice to see them perform when i wasnt sure how they would do.. for my pup to pick the fox even though he didnt know what it was suprised me more than anything and then for him to get stuck in even though bitten a few times surprised me even more.... but not only that he lamps and ferrets very well and has a few big rabbits which for me is an allrounder just like my black lurcher!!!! i wouldnt trade em for a 4/4 hare catching dog as for me there just a one trick poney No amount of money can buy a good dog.They are

well myself and the bro headed out tonight as we have not been out due to the big freeze we had.. the rain was bucketing down and we didn't stay out long 45mins max.. the dogs had a pair of rabbits each and as we were heading back to the van we spotted a fox and i started to call him in.. we don't usually go for foxes actually my black lurcher has only been slipped on about 3-4 but never connected and my pup has never even seen one till now.. anyways the fox came in at quite a rate and when it was about 20yrds away we slipped both dogs not really sure what was going to happen.. my black l

flyboy,use your brain it aint rocket science for f**k sake,give the young dog some tlc and bring her on for next season,shes a bit to young to think its all over for her imho gimp call down for that jacket for bella who is this ? do i know you ? does anyone talk to him anymore dont worry about the wire kid the only reason it wrecked lloyds bitch is that he dont have a clue take it handy with her and try not get her anymore slaps of wire and her confidence should return.

thanks for all the reply,s lads and no bother scent.. am just lead walking the mutts at the minute due to the big freeze where having.. did ya sort out a spot that time for your night out in the lamping comp? when the weather gets better we will go out for a few bunnies.. still plenty of em up this way... hows the cod fishing going?
