    me and h went looking for permission and we got the top of crickwoods with the rifle and shotgun and we got parkers but thats only for ferreting at the moment.

    to put salt all the way into the tail get a straw like the ones from mcdonalds and put that all the way into the tail with it sticking out the top so you can get it out later and then pour salt down it and when you take the straw out it fills all the tail.

    and another one the day before my ferrets got out my gramps did aswell and his albino hob was in the garage and he could not find his polecat hob so he went around the streets looking for it and a bloke come up to him and asked if he was looking for his ferret and he said yes and it turned out that it got into his rabbit run and killed his pet rabbit, my gramp offered to pay for another one but he said dont worry thats what ferrets do, lucky he was so understanding.

    mine did the same the other day my two hobs got out and one was in the recycling bin with bottles and tins and the other was saying hello to my two jills.

    my mate has a rechargable maglite and we use that lamping and we found that the rabbits would run to cover pretty much as soon as you put the light on, but my other mate got a lightforce striker with a dimmer on it and we put it on just so we can see the rabbit or its eyes then turn it up a bit when we take a shot and that seems to be the best method and we get a few more that way, and for lamping rats around farm buildings we use the maglite with a red filter and the rats dont run if they are about 15-20 yards but anything closer and they get twitchy and start to run off.

    my first was a rabbit and it was twitching because of its nerves and i thought it was still alive at the time but now i know different and that was about 3 years ago or more.

    word of advice the mk2s aint that good, a kid i no had one and it would missread and if you were near anything metal it would just detect that but me and my mate have a mk3 and collar each and there the muts nuts.

    used to get £3 a rabbit off a pub but now they will give £2 a rabbit gutted and skinned and the butcher will give £1.75 gutted and skinned and sells them for £2.75

    bigredbusa i am so jealous i take it you have been floating around the old talonownersgroup site and talonairgun as i am a huge fan of those guns and i have just had the "O"RING Mod and new internals put in by leupy and my next buy will be a blodnob valve.

    same thing happened with my mates s400 and i told him to pull the bolt back until it clicks then fill it you should have no problem but if that dont work i dno what will.
