4.10 i had the same i sent of for a grant on the same day as my mate did he had his in 2weeks and two of my other mates sent off for theres when my application was still being processed and they had them a couple of weeks before i did.

furthest confirmed kill was 49yard rabbit with a gunpower stealth .177 and i have shot midi clays with it at 100yards at the range. now sold and have an air arms s200 and only shot rats with it so far also .177 flavour.

i had the same almost all the class hated me for it i didnt give a shit though i just kept myself to myself a few friends in school also hunted n they had the same but not as bad because there class mates didnt care as much. The worst was when i was in religion and the teacher was major anti fox hunting and she showed a presentation of sins on the board and fox hunting was on there and when a picture of a fox came up with a crosshair on its and i giggled and it turned nasty.

Hi everybody, well the problem i have is that i recieved my fac and sgc on the 20th january and i have bought two rifles since then, but i wanted mods which i also asked for but looking at my fac i only had slots for a .22 and a .223, there was nothing said about the mods in the interview or when he rang me afterwards will they correct the error??? or will i have to get a varaition but i dont see why i have to pay £26 for something they did wrong and if i did i would want to increase the amount of slots whilst im at it and i cant see them being happy with that. many thanks nathan

After waiting an age for my ticket's to come i now have all the guns i want, i saved up for them for just over a year because im only 17 and nobody in my family shoots or hunts in anyway so everything i own hunting or shooting wise i have earned it the hard way. The shotgun is a side by side sable and is a 12g The top rifle is a cz american 16" barrel and is a .22 with a cheap smk scope (getting a better one when funds are avaible and a SAK mod is to come) The middle rifle is an air arms s200 with a AA silencer and 6-24-50 jsr scope in homemade camo. i have the nvmt4 with add on and it is very good it is awkward looking through it as yor head is so far back but you get used to it and i only shoot rats with mine so i lie up and wait for them and it is great fun, the only drawback is you need a scope with parellex adjustment otherwise you will not be able to focus it. hope this helps nathan

i have looked into the additional adaptor and even with the lowest mount and the adaptor the scope will be 30mm high which is still to high to see through the scope without lifting my head off the stock as i fitted the mounts from my mtc on their just to give me an idea even though they are 9-11mm and the scope was about 4-6mm left, they were still high they measured about 20-23mm i think and they were just a bit high but it still had abot 7-8mm before the objective lens touches the barrel(not a varmint barrel) so i could get away with even smaller mounts again and the only sportsmach mounts i

well i want to try something a bit cheaper and i have read that the Burris mounts are better and they are around £40 how much did you pay for the optilocks as i cant find a price anywhere?

Right guys, i have a tikka t3 .223 and the scope i have got for it is a MTC viper 6-24-56ir what mounts are best for i want something different than the optilocks and what height will i need for the objective lens to be just off the top of the barrel, many thanks nathan

this happened to my mates s200, cock the bolt back and push the pellet out the barrel carefully from the muzzle (watch you dont damage the crown) then where you load the pellet there should be a little o-ring around the bolt probe but if the air is coming out the breach like you said then there will be no o-ring there, but they are easy replaced for pennies hope that is helpful i will post pics if you dont know what i mean just ask.

Me and a mate off here went ferreting a couple of days ago and the dog and ferret caught a young rabbit each they could fit into the palm of your hand easy. ill ask him to put a pic up.

Are you sure it was a fox that took it because even if i get up early and check my snares crows sometimes get there before me and make a mess of it and a fox usualy takes all the rabbit or leave just the head in the snare,also it could of been a badger.
