  1. I use the fibreglass poles from an old tent for the whippy stick, they stay springy and don't take on any memory.
  2. I've ordered stop crimps from arrow anchors with 40 micro locks to try, I got double crimps, washers, tealer tube and small nuts to use as deer stops off that auction site cheap, I'll be making my own swivels, tealers and earth anchors myself, I found about 50 relax a locks in my shed and the rest of the eyelets will be breakaway ones which I will have a go at making.

Where does everybody get there fox snare crimps and washers from (cheapest) I need enough for about 250 snares and 100 retrievable Iowa earth anchors , I did have hundreds but can't seem to find them I've got about 300-400 metres of 2mm 7x7 galv cable already, might get some 19x1 wire just to try is there any advantages or disadvantages? I'll be making them all with breakaway eyes, I did have 100 relax a locks but can't find them either.
  4. I've got the pulsar hd38s, I met your mate jack the other day beating he works with my mate and the keeper, he was telling me how disappointed he was with his new guide, chatting about you aswell and the kit you got.
  5. I picked up a canon lens from eBay 25mm-100mm (1x-4xzoom) cost me £60 and it screws straight on the archer and does the job well but don't use it much now I got the thermal.

  11. ive got some cb longs, there pushing out just over 30ft/lbs, only good up to 10 yards in my gun but will be good for shooting foxes in snares or traps.
  12. why wouldnt he get both? and i use a hatsan and it works perfect.
  13. just the general caught on barbrd wire, been caught by both my knees and hanging on barbed wire, my mates deerhound x greyhound ran in to him on the lamp after coursing a rabbit straight back at us never laughed so much in my life as he is a big boy and was almost crying, and had the lamp battery catch fire when it was on my back.
  14. This happened to my mates grandad, a fallow doe almost killed his spanial when it was defending its fawn in the hedge.
  15. mine took 3 months and one of my mates took 1 week and 6 days and we sent them off on the same day? but i did apply for an fac at the same time, and my other mate had his in a record time of 1 week and 1 day for a shotgun grant all from gwent police.

  17. Now, this is getting to be careless... i no it happens when i go to pick up a rabbit and it slides off my shoulder.
  18. i dropped it again today and it still didnt lose zero.
  19. well i have got a 6-24-50 jsr scope on my .22 rimmy i think there about £100 with mounts but you can get the lower magnification model but i keep it on 6x, i have dropped my rifle 3 times onto the scope and it has never lost zero so i think its a good buy.

  21. i havnt got a stainless tikka but i have the hunter version and 9 out of 10 5 shots will be touching at 100 yards.
