Flew a female red 15 years ago with a JRT, all ok for the first half hour or so. But if no game seen, she would nail it. Tried for a couple of weeks but the same kept happening, in the end got myself a springer and she never tried to nail that. Andy

Never had a problem with flushing out rats with one, just keep them clean. With a chain saw your head will be aching after an hour with the bloody noise. Andy

Had the same problem mate, cleared it by soaking in sodium hydroxide. Now straight after use I flush it out with acetone, and never had a problem since. Andy
