Molly, do you find the dogs get bit more when say 2 catch at same time, with the terriers we had at the time 1 would catch, shake, dead
2 would tug of war! more often than not that resulted in one of them getting bit.
Just curiosity really,

still for sale
Check pm mate cheers.

well i aint no expert but surely train the dog like you would any other ie lurcher, spaniel, retreiver, etc
if people can train terriers for stalking im sure its possible to get the bugger to come back to you
-
Imo you can only rate a running dogs feet as 'good' when it has at least 5 or 6 seasons running under it belt and it's feet still remain sound, I've never had a lurcher remain totally sound in the feet past 6 years old hence I'll only run pure Salukis these day and I am still striving to select future dogs with larger/stronger feet.
not sure if i agree with larger/stronger feet as in perhaps theres more to get knocked up,
always ran fell collie grey x bedlington grey medium sized but strong tight feet, if conditioned correctly.
never had foot problems only sore pads if run off course onto tarmac roads on odd ocasion.
all the best y.i.s

thanks chaps i know what would be the easter way...but you never know
Swamper,
my bitch smashed her front wrist 18 months ago, got her fixed up as best we could, she is still worth her weight in gold to us as a marking and ferreting partner,
admittingly no more lamping for this old wench but still a very useful and much admired bitch,
all is not lost mate unless you believe it is.
All the best mate whatever you decide. at worst she would make a faithful partner.

as for breed collie grey dam, bed greyx collie grey sire.
both top dogs in our eyes and thats what counts .
and as for assumptions about money etc they are to be placed, not sold to strangers that get fed up and pass them from home to home.
Top Man! And I shouldn't wonder that, with That breeding, there'll be enough people with a clue more than grateful for one!
Unbeknownst to so many of the 'Warriors' on here; There Was life before the " BullX ".
And there were " BullX's " before the f***ing internet
Sounds a cracking combination for a good all rounder, mate. Very best of luck
thanks d s keeping more than our fingers crossed,
if its meant to be it will be

Hi all
not very often you will see me post
however on this occasion i must, at 6 this morning my lurcher bitch had her first pup by 5.30pm she had 12
everything fine all doing well, went for a beer came back another 6 pups , again all fine but will need some looking after
-
Hi
yes fully agree, our only option me thinks.if we can find the right vet that is
yis

Probably not explained correctly, regarding ages, 3 of the ferrets were adults 3,4 and 6 years old.
As for the parvo i'm 50/50, but all the dogs/hawks,owl and chickens are fine, have a lurcher in pup though, so is a worry.
Food for thought eh
thanks for your replies.

hi mate,
All fed on fresh carcase and odd bits of ferret complete, water bottles and hutchs clean, all in all shouldn't be the cause

Between 3 of us we have lost 6 ferrets in 5 weeks all different ages all well looked after,
all were fine in morning, on the night they were off their back legs and seemed thinner, dead the next morning.
i've had this or similar happen years ago, but this many in this amount of time beggars belief.
any ideas etc,
