  1. Sad news mate, just be care full when gettin another pup mate that pavo takes some geetin rid of you have to disinfect the whole yard all your carpets in the house etc. Best having all jabs before bringing home. WE had a pup die from parvo got another one was going to keep it at my nans till all japs were done. Picked the 2nd pup up took it straight to the vets for 1st jab took it to my nans a few day later that was dead to not good not telling you what to do mate just be carefull cheers christian

Hi mate have burnt kennel and run and vet gave me a parvo disinfectant have blitzed everything he was near to, i'm going to be very careful regarding this in the future,

    thanks mate all the best.

  2. My 10 week old patterdale pup died last night in the vets from parvo,

he'd been on a drip for 3 days, the lad i bought him from also lost the 2 he kept back,

His kennels are spotless so doubtful it came direct from there, however my vet seems to think it was carried there on someones feet if so all you lads that do breed please be careful and give a first parvo jab well before anyone comes to look at them.

It might just save their lives.

Here's to a potential little hero that never got the chance.

    RIP CUZ

  4. I have a 8 x 6 dog kennel/ferret pen for sale, I bought it off Sue off here for my two ferrets, but before I managed to get it erected I lost both ferrets, some daft twat (me) left one end of the old cage open after cleaning them out and he presto off they went never to be seen again.

I paid £50 for it and another £15 on some wood to replace the bottom cross members before I erected it (partly rotton due to sitting on the ground)

It has two sections, main section on right and two "cat flap" style entrance into the sleeping section, both have there own door entry.

All that it need now apart from erecting is a panel board across the back which are approx £5-6 from wickes.

Up for sale for £60 if anyone interested, attached is the photo sue had and I dont have any other as it is still "flat packed"!!!

I also have approx 20 feet of flexible 5" approx diammeter pipe if anyone interested £15

hi mate dont suppose you could drop it off in tamworth for an extra cost could you?

all the best ( the kennel that is)

  7. Alright hedz31 cheers for the advice, i would say your opinion would definitely be right mate if i just wanted a 100% earth dog for foxes but thats not what im after. I want her to be an all rounder from rats, rabbits, bushing etc & if she fancies a go at a fox along the way i wont stand in her way, suppose its "horses for courses" really & have no doubt some terrier men may frown upon it but at the moment shes doing her job well. I take her out with my harris hawks & ferrets & she is working really hard at the moment flushing game & catching rabbits & is switching her hunting instinct on, shes going ratting next week so its all good experience for her & will help build her confidence & fitness up & i will gradually enter her to larger quarry rather than just throwing her in with a fox. Boojet, am gonna start putting collar on her when shes out now just in case she dissapears down a hole. CarraghsGem about her breeding, sire was Nutall bred dog & dam has plenty of history & top lines in her blood, parents both 100% earth dogs with plenty of digs to fox under their belts. Cheers, Rich

all the best mate. it's better to be safe than sorry, might be sooner than you think, aye.

  8. Hello mate, cheers for the advice, i do keep a very close eye on her especially when out in unknown territory, she has shown interest in a few fox holes so i do keep her on the lead, also chased a couple of foxes above ground into cover, wont be entering her to fox tho until shes matured a bit & at least 12-18 months, dont want to ruin her & im in no rush. Thanks, Rich

just work her with locator on anyway, just in case
