I agree, but what we have to be careful of (imho) is to not get caught out buying into it because it effects something we don’t approve of. Im not rehashing a discussion we have already had with that comment by the way mate because we have been there, it’s just an honest reply……all we can do in most of these things is just refuse to condone it.

Of course it’s being used, I have not looked at what changes they would need to make to legislation to widen the use and powers but im guessing they have to make some or he wouldn’t have said it. Whatever they are should be rejected.

Are they protesting “in the right way” ? Lol lol I agree, if this had been a small one off event I’d have said they were playing into the medias hands…..but actually with something so widespread, if these people are historically good enough to die in our wars then they are good enough to stand up for themselves however they see fit. Fair play to every single last one of them…..some of them may not be pretty but they are there.

The government is already proposing an expansion of facial recognition tech, something so far that has been widely rejected in the west and for good reason. Its yet another step too far……to go along with all the other steps too far ! The government can’t be trusted with this stuff, it won’t get used against “them”, it will get used against YOU to shut you down. Sound like a stuck record !

I always think to myself, what are you rushing off to do ? Lol I totally get the frustration with some spastic who wants to take 15 minutes to get a £1 off rich tea biscuits or the pakis that do a forensic audit of there receipt and then question £0.25p like it’s Leaman brothers……I just say “Oi, that’s enough, f**k off out of it” But other stuff, I’m pretty cool…..no reason to feel bad or make others feel bad. I just think if you don’t want to stand in line then don’t go shopping ! Lol

This is where the water gets muddy, “English” is not as far as I’m aware an ethnic group, same as welsh, Irish, Scots etc…..those classifications are only about a thousand years old and, for want of a better word, Tribal. Its like saying I’m West Ham or Manchester United. The home nations didn’t even exist before around the 900s…..they hadn’t even been thought up, indeed the “nation state” hadn’t even been invented.
