Easiest wins ever for the government these things mate, get the press office to drop a few media outlets on the payroll a juicy headline about: ”Woman dies in ambulance because of terrorists protestors” or “Hard up builder evicted because he was an hour late to block pave a drive and now his whole family has to go on the game to eat” or similar salacious drivel and the great British public eat it up like wogs chasing a Bob Geldof grain truck ! Next time there is a big discussion on here about how the government is f***ing the ordinary British bloke and how are they getting away

This is exactly the same mate……. If they want to put a new motorway through your front garden and you plan, JUST PLAN, to protest about it…..you can get 5 years……that’s the reality.

I was a bailiff in some lakes at the time of the hunting ban, I used to talk to everyone about how they should get behind hunting lads, join the CA……almost to a man the anglers said “I don’t give a shit, huntings cruel, nothing to do with me” They was as happy as the next man to see that ban, and if not happy then they were completely careless about it…… They didn’t understand that if it could be about hunting lads and things that had existed for millennia in British culture then it could be about anything…….. As I said, today them……tomorrow you !!

Maybe there is no difference, but in my mind it’s a massive chasm between planning rape & murder to 50 year old Derrick planning to stand on the road with a placard ? Maybe we consider making someone late to plaster a wall is the same as rape & murder now in this moronic world mate ?, I despair, I really do. Country deserves everything it’s getting and more, it really does.

They didn’t even go to a protest, they just planned one ! It’s meat for the hard of thinking mate, a petty morsel thrown to the mob to curry favour…… A corpse to gain favour for 2 minutes. Its f***ing you in the arse and shoving a lollipop in your mouth to make you think it’s nice ! I always say, the thing that finished me off in my country was when I realised it was my own f***ing us the worst and this is a prime example.

Agreed mate, I just find it massively interesting (and hugely disappointing) getting an insight into peoples mindset about things like this. As you pointed out previously, many of the lads commenting “glad they got 5 years” would also be the same lads cheering on setting fire to potential immigrant houses in Dublin and fighting the Garda. I just can’t get my head round it at all……if they don’t understand that it wasn’t the JSO lads that got f****d, it was all of us, then there’s no f***ing hope at all ! Lol

The point of this thread isn’t if climate change is real, the point is that they are randomly locking up indigenous British people for 5 years for protesting in their own land……

The two draconian laws enabling many of these arrests – the Public Order Act 2023 and the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill 2022 – have vastly expanded police powers and undermined the right to protest. Daniel and his co-defendants were convicted under the latter, despite their protest never going ahead.

But they didn’t do any of those things, they stopped some traffic and put powder paint on some stones…… If anyone believes that any more people (or indeed any people) died in ambulances more than any other day because of these protests then they are thick as shit.

Again mate, nobody cares what YOU think is going to bring a prison sentence, do the research, it’s whatever the police commander on the ground (and his government bosses) decide it is at any given moment on the day…….

You are an angler, you are a worker of terriers……if they banned fishing tomorrow would you just take all your kit to the tip and say nothing mate ? Because I don’t think, having read your posts on here for years, that a lad like you would……if I had to sit in yet another U.K. traffic jam same as I have for most of my life because you felt a bit aggrieved and wanted to protest about it, should you get 5 years behind the door and your life absolutely destroyed ? Because I don’t think you should…..but it’s seems plenty of lads here would like to see you get exactly that.

The new government is going to stop licenses in the North Sea !…..and they still gave these people 5 years ! The Government: You’re white, you’re British and we are going to give you 5 years for protesting about climate change. Also The Government : We are going to tax you all into oblivion because we want to stop climate change. Anyone joining the dots here and finding that things just don’t add up ?

If you dig into this stuff mate, it’s a proven fact that protests that cause no hassle at all just don’t work…..as in, it’s been studied and it’s all in black and white. One of the lead organisers of JSO actually states that fact right from the beginning. I remember the Brixton & Toxteth riots, they gave the spades everything after those despite them murdering a policeman while they were at it.
