I get the logic, I watched a Texas sheriff explain it rather eloquently on a programme years ago……however, I personally wouldn’t be a fan of giving the state power or life and death over its citizens. It MAY be ok in the hands of competent, honest regimes but who has one of those ?, and even it you have a regime that’s not bad there is a chance you are getting something else in 4 years……. Our own government would be executing people for social media posts……an exaggeration I know but it’s an easy hop, skip and jump from one to another ! So state sanctioned death of your own

Whether we like it or not mate, he is the POTUS and that means when he says something the whole world takes notice !……they have to ! Strangely enough I have a lot of time for Galloway, don’t get me wrong I fundamentally disagree with most of his views?, ideology ?, world view ?……but some of it I do agree with and I also respect that he seems fairly honest about his beliefs no matter what the cost to himself politically or reputation wise. I have the same sort of opinion of Corbyn funny enough……he is a disease but he is a fairly honest disease.

Yep, understand all that mate, but as you have acknowledged the point is they are all poncing off someone and justifying it……he could have worked his own way through as most have to do but he didn’t ! My pal back in England runs a thing for kids with his fishing club every year where they take a group of kids and show them the ropes, the do’s and don’t’s, fish care, skills everything like that…..wonder if there are any clubs near you doing the same mate ?……may be worth investigating ?

Amazing ! Lol Funny enough I also had a job as a kid doing the cladding on two massive old Zepplin hangers in Bedford….but that was all scaffold and standing on the roof of that didn’t bother me at all……other than they used to do explosive testing in them and it took ages to climb down, wait for them to set off the explosion and then climb all the way back up again. I had a very near miss on that job, was tec screwing sheets to the side about halfway down, heard a noise above me and quickly pulled my arms back to my sides as a sheet of Steel came down like a guillotine. Many years ago I had a job in one of those cradles, the old type where you pull yourself up and down one end at a time and the rope is gripped by wrapping it back over itself so that’s it’s your weight gripping it and stopping you from falling !!…….swung about all over the show. Whilst I agree with the gist of that mate, I think we also have to take into account that as the years have gone on it has become more recognised and as such more diagnosed. Looking at my boy he displays many traits I did as a kid or I look at my younger daughter and she is definitely on the spectrum in many ways, but when I was a kid and she was a kid it was just thought of as someone’s quirks and as long as you could function and get by nobody thought much of it, it’s when you can’t function at something everyone else is doing it presents a problem and that, along with better understand
