It’s a storm in a tea cup mate…..At least we know what he is all about and the more that reveal themselves the better. I watched the Kenny Daglish one the other day, it was class….but that will be the last one, it’s not much but it’s the totally insignificant thing I can do. I tried to struggle through some match of the day the other night, do you know what….the Premier league is the biggest pile of boring wank ever ! Luckily, this new format of the champions league is saving top flight football for me….i can watch it, but I wouldn’t give you tuppence for a premier league game anymore. It’s shite, boring American shite….period !

We couldn’t afford big words back in the day in the slums of Manchester, them big words was for mill owners and such….the royalty with their dictionary’s gifted to them by Catholic Church….gifted I say ! We used to hang round outside the church and make shoes from the cover of bibles they threw away….got a new one every week the posh b*****ds…..every week I say. Then we’d go home and 10 of us would be huddled round a candle with nowt but a single stale bread role for us tea……there wasn’t any, all the farmers were eating them all as they whipped farm hands to gather wheat faster…….

No, I think Truss was spot on and she knew it, but she wasn’t very clever about it…..so I take your point entirely mate. Trouble is, will being clever about it deliver anything meaningful ?…..I hope so but I’ve no reason to feel hopeful if that makes sense.

Very fair point However, immigration is a waste of breath if we don’t elect people who are willing to go far enough to do something about it that actually makes any meaningful difference to our daily lives……it’s no good hearing it, you have to see it and feel it. Are ex Tory’s who thought it was all a jolly good idea in the first place the people to do that ?……

And there would be a massive policy statement !….. Blair changed the nature of Britain and how it is governed fundamentally, he basically did away with the Britain we all knew and imagine we still live in and implemented something else. If reform said “We will repeal every law and act Blair ever put in place and restore Britain to its former relationship between the government and the governed” then that would really be something…..that would go a massive way to giving many of us back the nation we want…… It would put the faceless blob who really rule Britain back in their box
