There’s a perfectly reasonable explanation if you take emotion out of the equation. First and foremost we have to get rid of the presumption that living is based on some kind of points system and only the most worthy get to live. A comment struck me on this thread about the Bible being doom and gloom……. And it struck me that, we turn on the news nightly and see that in droves, we discuss it regularly here…..the Bible isn’t telling people to do that stuff What we don’t see in the news is “A bloke gave up his time to help someone or something for no other reason than he wanted to” Or “Somebody helped somebody else out of a dark place” We never hear the story of the volunteer at the food bank, the person who helps kids or adults with disabilities for free, the bloke who gives away 100,000 trees for f

I’m sure many would concur mate…..but, there is an opposite side to that. Go and stand in wild places, fields, woods, mountains, Loughs, fjords….untouched and unspoilt by human hands…..then you get a feeling of something more Now, I have said many times I think “god” is a package that lets a human mind comprehend that which is just too massive to comprehend….but something more is at play somewhere

Books haven’t got anything to answer for, that’s ludicrous ! Its human beings who have stuff to answer for, not books. Banning homosexuality won’t suddenly make them all not gay anymore, if you want to stop all those things then ban human beings (which is of course a nonsensical proposition)…..until you do that, you will keep getting all the very best and all the very worst man kind has to offer. If people just “loved god and loved each other” as per the Bible then everything you mentioned there wouldn’t exist…..but you want to ban the thing that actually promotes it ?

It’s got nothing to do with having a difficult life, it’s wether she was raised in a moral vacuum…..your parents and the input, environment etc have a massive effect on your life… They may just be very bland people who think just ticking boxes of life is enough ?… who knows ?

On a serious note, I mean everyone’s entitled to live how they see fit but what leads you to a path where you think “I know what I’ll do……I’ll go round getting gang banged right, left and centre on film for the whole of the world to see for eternity !” Is it a symptom of a world where we value f**k all and monetise everything ?……how do you even get to that point in your own moral and ethical compass ?
