I can agree with that line of thought…..however, two things….. Human nature always manifests……and…..they may have no choice, it may come to them ? These events are not new, they are repeated in some form of mental cocktail as far back as we care to look in history, all the ingredients are there……just waiting for that unique circumstance that triggers chaos.

Spoken like a man with zero Experince ! lol I think human beings have an amazing capacity to overcome and function, I won’t say heal because I don’t believe that’s true…..I think experiences will colour your view for the rest of you life, but they can learn how to rationalise, compartmentalise and function…..some just need a little hand and even more so in this modern world.

Nobody is “made” to experience some of this stuff, by its very nature you have to experience it to know and then work it out after. Im glad that we are better at recognising that than we have ever been.

I’ve always wondered how the blokes that came back from WW1 & WW2 managed ?…..now, I’ve given this some thought. To cut a long story short I think it shows how bad modern society is for your mental health, we are returning these men to a world that’s bad for your f***ing head at the best of times ! I know a bit about trauma (as they call it now) and I also know a bit about just dealing with that on your own without any type of help at all…as in zero.
