Has anyone ever seen that documentary about those two brothers ?…..they are grown men now and they present it. It’s horrific, they were subjected to exactly that (makems post) ………if you do ever find it, brace yourself and also ask if you need to see something like that, it will break your heart.

It was a belting game mate, little Bodo have a stadium capacity of 8000, there’s a supermarket in one end and a school in the other of their stadium ! lol Nearly went skint 10 years ago, Milan brought on two players who cost the same as the whole of Bodos squad late in the game last night to try and rescue things. Now, I obviously wouldn’t be as aquatinted with Central European culture as you mate, I only know what I see on telly and suchlike but they don’t seem to have ghettos full of the 3rd world in them places ?…..they seem to be culturally nationalistic. Like it don’t seem like there’s a Brixton equivalent in Budpest or a Tower Hamlets in Vilnius ! These people must think we are insane ?

I agree with that, it’s what we used to do…..the government controls things that are vital to national security and/or wellbeing like steel production, energy, water and sanitation. Also essential rail transport links. Everyone else gets left alone to get on with their business. It’s just common sense.

I kid you not, one of our treble winning seasons me and my forward partner scored 94 goals between us….lads can believe that or not but it’s absolutely true, our pals wouldn’t get up from their dinner to come and see us if we were in town ! lol…..but when Dave visited back from New Zealand a good few lads made the effort to come and see him, that’s how much he was respected.
