You say your not a football man mate, but you have made some very good observations IMHO .......it's good business for all concerned the way I see it. I agree the facilities should be there but I certainly don't agree with all the " government should do something" mentality.....there is plenty of stuff for kids to do if the parents look hard enough......just because a bloke like football or rugby don't mean his boy or girl have to do it too, they may want to swim, or dance or trampoline or judo or gymnastics or boxing etc etc etc There loads of parents out there whose kids do something nearly every day of the week, it takes time and sometimes money but it's well worth the effort.......it's all out there, just a tap on the pc screen away.

When the justice system is 100 percent bullet proof, the I would agree wholeheartedly......however, we have seen in the steven lawrence case that the justice system can be re-engineered to please whatever politically correct nonsense is the catchphrase of the day! The reality is with murder, that in current law, even if one of our kids were just with a group of people and one of that group stabs someone, then our kids would be just as guilty and get hung!........no sorry, the modern political class cannot be trusted with life or death decisions no matter what the crime is.....
