  1. Fair enough, your opinion and I respect that....imho, 5 nights a week should not be too much for a good dog and if it cant manage that then its ordinary......all the very best dogs I have seen get the work smashed into them and seem to thrive on it. Its just an opinion and its a free one Different strokes for different folks I suppose.
  2. My take on it would be, it depends what you mean by "sore".......does that mean an obvious sign of injury, limping, bad bruising etc or just thats its been out a couple of nights and the owner thinks it needs a rest? If the stoppers were showing signs of damage but no limping, I would treat them and tape them up and keep going. If there were no obvious bad injurys, I would think nothing of just keeping going......not saying that everyone should think that way, but I do
  3. Sorry matey, but that statement is totally untrue, theres a few lads that have and do iv run same dog everynight for 3/4/5 nites a week, not many last tho, 3 seasons is a long time for 1 dog doing a lot imo I would say that it sorts the wheat from the chaff, imho theres not many people have the work to work one dog absolutely to the max.......they just dont have the time, the fuel money, the right ground or many other reasons. Most owners would tire long before they could give a good dog all it can handle, its the shite that its easy to spew
  4. Sorry matey, but that statement is totally untrue, theres a few lads that have and do
  5. Did Scotty give you that to hold?
  6. "OOOHHHHH.............my sect is on fire"
  7. You have some interesting shots there, was it just tourism or were you involved in some way with that war.......or do I mind my own f*****g business! LOL Worked with a guy last summer who was a major in the army out there at that time and he had some pretty horrific tales to tell.
  8. Shall I tell the world that you are the dancing aircraft cleaner or will you!

  9. Never mind the brown nosers, it looks like there is a green eyed monster around as well......its a veritable rainbow of emmotions Me and Dillon was laughing about this thread today, and to coin a phrase.....those in The Know, know!
  10. His dong is over 25% of his entire body mass and he likes to feed it to niggaz!

  11. His comments are sensible but I don't think someone who's hunting experience is what he reads off here should be giving out advice, do you? It's not as if all his knowledge gained from this wonderful Oracle of hunting will be true. I knew what you meant (in The Know you see ).......whats your take on the rest of my post? I agree with your comments and I reckon the same applies to a pup. Give it some gullible easy rabbits sitting out during the summer, not a problem. It's the folk who hit the rabbits as hard as they do in the winter that are in the wrong. But they are only shitti

  13. I would say Patricks comments are pretty sensable, all I would say is the IMHO there would be nothing wrong with giving a dog that is mature enough some hand picked easy summer experiences in order to give it some confidence.
  14. I have read some comments and I can see the doubters, I have seen this bitch work and to be honest she would do that number a peice of piss
  15. Those in The Know, know that sometimes you can shove the rule book up your arse!
  16. A dog called "Paddy", everything i like in a dog......gentle, quiet docile nature, 100% around kids, stock and other dogs.....cool as a cucumber. But when the lamp went on and his quarry was in the beam he would become a raging beast trying to break through the windows of the vehicle.......I know his owner got more than a few hefty bangs round the head as "Paddy" made an unexpected exit from the window. Made things look very, very easy on even the hardest of jobs......now retired and living out his dotage being fussed over. I have seen another and heard of one more, that are what I would
  17. Thats exactly what I mean.......jesus, can you feel the love in the room now
  18. When you have owned a good dog WILF not saying you havent. They never quite get the job done as efficiently. You think just something missing.JMO. Fair comment mate, and no, I have never owned anything I would regard as top class and thats being honest And your right, you always see the missing bits......IMHO people need to get about and see for themselves before they can make the decision on if there mutt is even approaching being good......if its not and they chose to accept that, then I can understand that...people get attached to their animals So what your saying is that eve
  19. Mate if you say they were good, then they must have been very good indeed ....

  21. All joking aside, should be a good thread Another interesting question would be, once you had seen and heard (from honest people) how top class dogs perform.....how much trouble do you have accepting second best? edited for my shit spelling!!
  22. When I take you fishing, I will ask the lads if its OK for you to be in The Know......if it is, I will let you know The Know
