Don’t know if it’s warm there at the moment but they had a lovely cafe/bar/arts area by the river there…..really nice, good mixture of people of all ages, family's, all sitting and enjoying food and music. As for language, you get by, everyone speaks English and you soon pick stuff up…..

I was on business in Poland, Posnan (spel ?) to be exact…..I thought it was lovely. Clean, modern, industry all making and doing things from chairs to combine harvesters, historic, social in the town centre, felt safe….nice atmosphere all round. Had one cabbie try his luck for a fare, but “f**k off” is a universal language and it never caused a problem. Everything was cheap, Sterling went a long way when converted to Zloti….good all round from what I could see

Of course you are affected, everyone is but it’s a question of “can you tolerate it?” If you can and/or you like it then great, no reason to look anywhere else…..but if you can’t then it’s very doable as long as you are willing to make adjustments…..that’s all I’m saying.

You have to ask yourself, how is everyone else getting by ?…….because there is always ways and means. Theres an English lad up the road to me, he is a lagger and just flys home when a contract comes along….works for a month or two on price and then that’s it, flys back and has 6 months off doing whatever he wants because his money gos so much further. Europe is small, you can get round it as quick as you can commute into any major U.K. city

Moving anywhere is a trade off I would imagine…… The calculation imho is always: Do the things you value outweigh the things you don’t like ? It ain’t always about the money……if you’re chasing money you have to go where money is, trouble with that is that it’s often not the best place to actually live, raise kids, not be around madness or degradation. Just opinions mate, but for me everything about that goal was perfect……DeBoers diag pass from deep, The first touch, the turn inside the defender, the outside of the right foot finish, the fact it was in the dying minutes of a game, it was against Argentina……it just don’t get better does it ? I’ll also throw a wild card in and mention one that I don’t think gets mentioned enough if at all…….a 17 year old Michael Owen’s goal against Argentina in the World Cup…what a moment and what a goal. But when taken in its entirety goals like that don’t even come close to that Bergkamp goal…..

My Mrs worked for Dior, Elizabeth Arden etc etc in the late 90s on their concessions in places like House Of Fraser, Alders, Bluewater, Lakeside blah blah…….it was a well know fact amongst the girls in that line of work that you didn’t go to work at Harrods because the dirty Arab c**t was at it or trying to be with all the girls….. I think every comment so far is a very fair shout, can’t argue with any of that. However, I still think to myself “At what point in the last 25 years did these women decide they had been raped ?” Because let’s be honest, if this bloke (no matter what we may think of him) is open to those kind of historic charges then I’d wager so are half of the lads in the country who were 17-23 in the late 90s /early 2000s ?? Id like to know at exactly what point these women decided it was rape/sexual assault ?……because it would seem to me you’d know that kind of thing pretty quick surely ?

I’m not arguing about whether we fund the NHS properly (we do!) mate, that’s not the point, the point is should we fight back against this insanity and how do we do it…..I simply used your example of the NHS because I think they are one of the very worst perpetrators in this general malaise of insanity. I think we have seen there is a lack of will “to do”…..never going to happen…..what I’m suggesting is to “not do”….much easier ! I take your point all the same but I think we have seen that’s a non starter. You mention the NHS and that’s not actually a bad example, it’s one of the biggest perpetrators of total f***ing nonsense…..a national monolith almost unparalleled in the world that pisses away your money by the tanker load at the alter of nonsense…..and it does it because it feels untouchable, maybe we should say nothing and let the threat of politicians taking the axe to it

I like that people look at a game and see players like that, so many watch football in both boxes and completely ignore through disinterest or ignorance the great stuff happening in mid field. I watched both the ties between Bayern Munich & Leverkusen the other week…..Watching Kimmich (spel) was an absolute pleasure, to a point where I couldn’t have given two shits about what was happening in either box. Its like when Modrich makes an appearance these days, your eyes are glued to him….everything from the simple to the sublime has real knowledge and class behind it, brilliant .

I watched that hideous f***ing Jew Alan Sugar this morning as a talking head on some news clip….he was on about this and that and seems to massively fail to grasp that Trumps tariffs are (from what I can see) about bringing industry and everything that gos with that back to America ?
