    Many thanks for your reply. I have bathed his eyes tonight and it seems to be helping, i am hoping it is something that will improve as he grows . How old is your Border? Our Ted is on the look out for a hard working girl.

    hi, have alook at his eye lashes, make sure he has,nt any in growing lashes, or 2 sets of lashes growing had it happen to a pup we had, Many thanks mate i will check him out .

    Many thanks Shell. We will give it a go really keen to sort him out ,he is a fantastic little fella and mad keen to get out and about and do his stuff. We have just visited your site ,your dogs are superb a real credit to you .

    Thanks for your reply .Trying him on the eye drops one of the boys suggested earlier and they seem to be helping ,his problem does seem to be with the inner lid and it really gets him down .We have done the vets twice with him no help ,really stuck as to what to try next?Does anyone know someone up in the north east to take him to?

    Thanks for the reply. Eyes get sore when we work him, which is why we were wondering if it was some sort of allergy/pollen thing. Really bad when he gets out in the bushes. He's eleven months old, could he grow out of it?

    Funnily enough we thought of that. Vet said he his eyes were sore. Which we knew. And charged us fifty quid. Money well spent if it helped him. But it didn't. Any other thoughts?

    our border is having real problems with his eyes ,sore and swollen under his lids to the point were he cant open them after a good mooch out he is just a year old and a real cracker ,any ideas ?

    Our border Ted is a cracking little fella. Almost a year old, from a good working background and really keen, but he is having a problem with his eyes that is holding him back. The flesh underneath his eyelids swells to the point where he can hardly open them when he's been out in the field. Could he have some sort of hayfever/pollen allergy? He's looking to be a great worker, fearless, tireless, well behaved everything you'd want. What can we do to help him?

    Thanks Toddy and everyone else but the credit has to go to Brian a genuine man with a real knowledge of dogs and what they need to live there lives as they are meant to .Keep in touch mate and good luck for the coming season

    Here's a pic of our two. The brindle dog is our Reg and the blue boy is our Ron. We saw the black dog and the bitch when we were up. Beauties. Nice looking dogs there mate!

    Pups are doing fantastic and Brian and his family were cracking people mate. You should get him to put some of his old photo album up on here his pre ban pictures are the best ive seen and his boy Scotty looks looks like showing the old man a thing or two before long i will ask the good lady to put some pictures of the pups up when she gets back with the terriers mate atb

    Hello John i have two 4 month old lurcher pups ,i realise they are to young to race but would like to see the other dogs and hopefully get a few tips etc if thats ok? We live in Hartlepool . What time do you meet? Regards Niel
