It is clear that defra, rspb & rspca have to take a large level of responsibilty for this outrageous incident. But I would also say that Roger Lupton has to take a large portion too. Sorry, but if you fly eagles you should make damn sure you are not flying them in areas where wild eagles live otherwise what else do you expect than for there to be fight? Also why was the eagle taken all the way back to the south of england for rehabbing instead of being handed to a reputable rehab centre in scotland?

Dont think i am being funny but why has your topics just been about prosecutions concerning birds or their eggs??????? Because its a topic I have a great interest in. These people give us a bad name and I think we could do more to exert peer pressure from within our community. By posting these stories, I aim to raise awareness amongst those of us who are abhorred by the actions of a few selfish and ignorant idiots, just as a starting place. If we can't/or are unwilling to put our own house in order, then we can't complain when external groups highlight our sport's dark side. With you
