    Dessie Mackins Annual Christmas Dog Show 2016. Bannvale House Hotel is a beautiful Old World Hotel, sitting in the lap of the County Down countryside between Gilford and Banbridge. This idyllic landscape was the venue for Dessie Mackins Annual Christmas Dog show Saturday 17thDecember 16. This dog show is a special get together for all canine enthusiasts at Christmas.     PLEASE NOTE --- RACE DAY CANCELLED Tullylish Working Terrier Club Charity Race Day, Sunday 13th November 16.CANCELLED. Unfortunately we have had to Cancel our Charity Race Day this Sunday13th November folks due to todays terrible weather, with more to come on Friday and Sunday. The Farmer does not want the field tore up and this is understandably. Very sorry about this, but hopefully we will try and do something next year.     Tullylish Working Terrier Club Charity Race Day, Sunday 13th November 16. The Tullylish Working Terrier Club will be having a Race Day on Sunday the 13th November 16 in aid of Children in Need. There will be Simulated Coursing for Whippets and Lurchers. There will be a very exciting course for Lurchers, with a shuck to jump, hopefully, depending on the field.     Montalto Game Fair Saturday 24th September and Sunday 25th September 2016 As I looked out the window early Saturday morning, a brisk autumn wind blew through the trees, sending waves of leaves floating over the dog pens, and the rain was coming down in buckets. I firmly believe this was natures way of telling our faithful Canine friends, the end of the showing season was on the horizon and their weekly excursions to the show ring and race track is coming to an end, and their work in the field must now begin.     DWTC DOG SHOW AND RACE DAY AT ANNAGHMORE RACE TRACK SUNDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER16. Up bright and early Sunday morning as another new dawn was breaking, with the September dew still on the grass, trailer and dogs in tow, we set off into the County Armagh Countryside, headed for the town land of Annaghmore and the now famous Annaghmore Race track. Deep in the heart of Orchard County, this brilliant race track was the perfect venue for Sundays Charity Dog show and Race day. This dog show was a little bit special, as it was in aid of “PIPS,” a very worthy and needy charity nowadays.
