NEW DOG SHOW LIST FOR 2021 It is with hope in my heart I am going to take Dates for our 2021 Dog Shows , Race days and Game Fairs. With only 3 Dog Shows taking place in 2020, we can only hope 2021 will be a better year for all of us. I miss all my doggie friends, the banter and the craic, and cannot wait for the time we will all be back together again North and South of the border at the sport we all adore winter and summer. The DWTC Dog Show and Race Day Sunday 23rdAugust 2020 With the threat of Covid 19 wafting in the air and government restrictions at an all time high, the showing season for 2020 has been dreadfully short circuited with these terrible times. So it was fitting to go out on a high with the annual DWTC dog show and race day Sunday 23rd August. ***SPECIAL NOTICE OWING TO COVID19 SITUATION*** Nugentstown Horse & Country Show will still be going ahead as per new government restrictions below. Terrier and Lurcher classes will commence at 10.00am sharp. We ask people to arrive 30 minutes before their class. We also kindly ask people to vacate the show grounds as soon as you are finished competing. There will be no spectators welcome owing to the Covid 19 situation. Alcohol is not permitted on the day. The town land of Man - O - War is set in the shadow of Clay Lake, surrounded by picturesque countryside and sits on the outskirts of Keady, Co Armagh. I MISS THE BANTER, THE ARGUMENTS, THE PHOTOGRAPHS, THE COMARDRIE, AND ABOVE ALL THE FRIENDSHIPS I HAVE MADE OVER THE MANY ,MANY, YEARS IN THE DOGGIE WORLD. The North West Terrier,Lurcher and Whippet Club ( Barry Hollands Show ) Sunday 15th March 2020 As the saying goes Spring has Sprung, and with the work in field complete , the time had arrived for to start the Dog Show and Racing season for 2020. Although the dreaded Corona Virus hung over our canine community, it was good to get away from the long dreary winter days, and head to the first Dog Show of the year. The venue for the day was beautiful Barrentop Fun Farm, Donemana, Co Tyrone. Although it was icy cold, it kept mostly dry with the exception of a few light showers.
