  1. Thanks Skycat I have him out twice a day so that he can run and run and he must be covering a lot of miles in the 2 half hour sessions. I will try him on the chicken carcases, I had him on the (high protein) mince to improve his condition and because he is still a pup, to achive his full potential. But as he is putting muscle on as opposed to growing I think you are right and that could be a main factor with his behaviour. He is being walked over the 3 farms I have permission on around my house as well as in the local village to socialise him. Am also getting him out with my friends dogs as

    Knives

If you are pulled carrying either a blade over 3" or a lock knife (any length) then you would have to prove you had a lawful reason for carrying it. After discussing this with the local police sargent (who also shoots) who said if you could prove where you were legally hunting (written permission) and traveling home from there (not going in the opposite direction) Then in his opinion common sense should prevail and no action should be taken. But if you could not produce evidence that you were legally hunting or had any other good reason for carrying the knife it would automatically be classe
  7. The 2 sets of jabs given when puppies are both DHPPi+L this is also the same injection given as a booster. In a recent report certain cases have been found particularly with immune deficient dogs that booster jabs can actually do harm. Skycat is right that you can get a blood test done for titrate levels(antibody's)but that costs about £. Personally I just give the 2 sets of puppy jabs and no boosters and have not had any problems. The reason I give two sets of injections is that it needs two seperate doses of the dead virus to produce the antibody's needed to successfully fight off the live
